Today, we celebrate not only mothers but also every soul who has embraced the role of nurturing, guiding, and loving unconditionally.

The 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 of the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐨 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐚𝐰 successfully conducted its Legal Aid Event on April 21–22, 2026, at the University of Baguio Legal Assistance Center.

The two-day activity provided free legal advice and notarization of simple documents to Baguio City residents and University of Baguio employees and students, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to community service and access to justice.

The event also served as a valuable learning opportunity for the law student practitioners, who were able to gain practical experience in addressing real legal concerns under the guidance and supervision of qualified lawyers.

The IBP Baguio-Benguet Chapter volunteer lawyers likewise participated in the activity in coordination with the University of Baguio School of Law, further strengthening the shared commitment of the legal profession and legal education institutions in promoting public service and access to justice.

📣 CLEP COMMUNITY OUTREACH | UB SCHOOL OF LAW

The University of Baguio School of Law, through its Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP), successfully conducted a community legal lecture today at the Barangay Dominican-Mirador Hill Barangay Hall, Baguio City.

Under the supervision of Atty. Jose Romualdo C. Carpio III, CLEP Director, law students delivered lectures on:

⚖️ Republic Act No. 9262 – Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004
⚖️ Republic Act No. 7877 – Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of 1995

The session was attended by the barangay officials of Barangay Dominican-Mirador Hill, led by Punong Barangay Carol Bimmawig Domogan — the community's first line of defense in protecting women and children from violence and harassment.

By bringing legal education directly to local leaders, we take a step toward gender equality, stronger community institutions, and a more just and inclusive society — values at the heart of what we do at the University of Baguio School of Law.

The UB Legal Assistance Center remains committed to making the law accessible to every Filipino — one community at a time.

Students from various law schools across Baguio and Benguet showcase true sportsmanship today, April 19, 2026 for Paralaw 2026 at Saint Louis University.

This annual competition brings law students together beyond the courtroom, fostering camaraderie on the court while giving them a chance to unwind and have fun despite their busy and demanding schedules. -MAG

From the library to the arena, the shift in energy was incredible! PARALAW 2026 officially kicked off at the SLU Main Campus last April 12, proving that the grind doesn’t stop at the law books—it just moves to the court. 🏛️🏀

Day 1 was defined by pure adrenaline, hard work, and a genuine spirit of camaraderie. Baguio’s finest went head-to-head, trading legal theories for athletic prowess and showing what it really means to be a student-athlete in the legal world.

Whether it was the explosive speed on the track, the teamwork in the relays, or the high-stakes intensity of the opening Basketball and Volleyball games, every point was fought for with the same passion we bring to our daily recitations. 🏐🏃‍♂️

We might be future colleagues in the courtroom, but today, we were rivals on the floor—bound by mutual respect and a shared love for the game. 🤝🔥

Congratulations to all the participants for a massive Day 1! You proved we can balance the weight of the law with the drive of a champion. See you all for the next round!
