KEEPING CULTURE ALIVE THROUGH DANCE AND MUSIC ๐ถ๐ช
The Saint Louis School of Pacdal, Inc. The IP Socio-Cultural Dance Troupe participated in a Dance and Music Workshop held at Saint Louis School of Pacdal, Inc. on August 15, 2026
The workshop provided the participants with an opportunity to learn, practice, and further develop their skills in Indigenous dance and music. Through guided activities and demonstrations, the students gained a deeper appreciation of the movements, rhythms, and traditions that reflect the richness of Indigenous culture.
More than developing their performance skills, the workshop encouraged the participants to understand the importance of learning, appreciating, and preserving cultural traditions. Through music and dance, younger generations can continue to recognize and celebrate the heritage passed down by their communities.
SLSPI extends its sincere appreciation to Resource Speakers Chao S. Lua, King Tyrone Assing, Nhiel Kyzer T. Pudico, Pia L. Sernadilla, and Jake C. Cambato of IPEACE Organization for generously sharing their time, knowledge, and skills with the participants.
The activity was conducted with the guidance of IP Socio-Cultural Dance Troupe Club Adviser, Mrs. Joanna Mae Pasana.
May every rhythm learned and every step practiced serve as a reminder that culture continues to live when it is learned, valued, practiced, and shared.
