We sinned, but we were saved. His mercies and love do not choose. Salvation is not earned but freely given by His boundless grace.

This poem, Redeemed by His Grace, reminds us that the love of God is unconditional, revealed through sacrifice and mercy . His grace is a gift that transforms brokenness into hope. Thus, with hearts redeemed, we lift His name in endless praise and gratitude.

As April comes to a close, may this Bible verse of the week become a reminder how worship is not only limited to songs or prayers, but as a way of living:
Every single day, we journey and experience acts of faith, even our struggles can be one too. This is when we choose to honor God in the ordinary and the challenging moments in life alike. Worship is not just about what we say, but about how we live with integrity, kindness, and perseverance.
As we leave behind the busyness of April and transition to another chapter, this verse calls us to see our lives as a living sacrifice that is holy, pleasing, and purposeful. True worship is found in the way we carry ourselves in every where we go, how we treat others in our community, and how we persevere when things get difficult. It is about letting our daily choices reflect Godโs mercy and love, even in the smallest details.
As we step into May, may we carry this spirit of worship with us: living with gratitude and striving for excellence not just for ourselves but for Godโs glory. In this way, our lives become more than a routine, but a testimony of faith and a reflection of Godโs goodness.

Every faith has its roots. Faith is a journey that looks different for each of us; each journey shares stories that are deeply personal. It reflects how God's presence touches our lives. With these faith testimonies, may their stories of faith shed light, inspiration, and strength to continue our own journey of faith. May it remind us that we are not alone in this walk, in this journey, and hopefully, someday we may also serve as inspiration to others through our faith. โ

As April continues to unfold and the final term begins, may we be reminded by this Bible verse of the week about God's salvation:

This verse reminds us that salvation is not something we achieve through our own strength, but a gift freely given by God. It teaches us that our true identity and hope are not found in what we can boast about, but in Godโs grace that sustains us. In the midst of the pressures of academic life, we often rely on our own effort and forget that faith calls us to humility. However, it is Godโs guidance and strength that carry us through.
This passage invites us to trust in His grace, knowing that even when we fall short, His love remains constant. Let us approach our life's challenges with diligence, but also with faith that He is with us in every challenge. In remembering that salvation is a gift, we are freed from pride and fear, and empowered to live with gratitude, humility, and purpose.

From April 7 to 8, we were so glad to support each of you, whether you needed printed notes, reviewers, or last-minute study materials. This wouldn't have been possible without the hard work of our officers, organizing team, and the entire SICAP family. As we face the second week of April, may we be reminded by this verse of the week that faith is more than words; It is lived through action:

Following Christ is not about empty declarations, but about living out Godโs will in our daily lives. For us Louisians, this verse speaks powerfully as it is the season of exams, presentations, and deadlines. Just as success in academics requires more than simply saying we want to pass, but actually studying, persevering, and applying ourselves, so too does faith require more than words. It calls us to action: to integrity in our work, kindness in our relationships, and perseverance in our responsibilities.
Examinations test not only knowledge but discipline and commitment. In the same way, life tests our faith, not by how often we say โLord, Lord,โ but by how we live with humility, service, and love. This verse challenges us to align our actions with our beliefs, to let our choices reflect the values we profess.
May we carry this reminder into our lives that true faith is shown in how we act, how we serve, and how we persevere. Living out Godโs will prepares us for the greater promise of His kingdom.

April 9 celebrates the Day of Valor, or Araw ng Kagitingan, as a Philippine non-working holiday. This day commemorates the fall of Bataan, the Battle of Corregidor against Japanese troops during World War 2, and marks that beginning of the Bataan Death March.

The month of April often brings both challenges and transitions with exams, projects, and all presentations on our plates. It is a month of striving, but also of waiting and hoping. Just as a deer thirsts for water to survive, we too thirst for peace, guidance, and renewal in the midst of academic pressure and personal struggles. The song As the Deer beautifully captures the longing of the human heart for Godโs presence:
.โ
These words remind us that in the midst of lifeโs demands, our deepest need is not success or recognition, but the sustaining love of God. This song invites us to pause and reflect: Where do we draw our strength? Do we rely only on grades, achievements, or approval from others, or do we turn to God who offers lasting fulfillment?
In the busyness of April, As the Deer reminds us that true refreshment comes not from temporary victories, but from yielding our spirit to the One who never fails. As we journey through this month, may we let our longing for God shape our lives, wherein we find rest in His love when we are weary, courage in His presence when we feel uncertain, and joy in His promises when we look ahead. April is a season of new beginnings, and with God as our strength, we can face it with hope and peace.
