On August 9, 2026, Tanglaw Singers rendered choral anthems, and the seminary President, Dr. Armand M. Canoy , delivered the message at Baguio Chinese Baptist Church, during BCBC's annual Seminary Sunday.

Thank you, BCBC, for having us on this special day!
May the Lord all the more bless our partnership in the ministry 🙏

Soli Deo Gloria!

A little throwback to Tanglaw Singers’ Korean Vision Trip in 2025. Led by Teacher Cleo and Dr. Mark Nam, the group had singing engagements in Asan and Seoul. Aside from ministering through music, the group had the privilege of visiting famous tourist attractions and historical places in Seoul, Paju, and Asan; enjoyed the bustling metropolitan areas and the picturesque korean countryside; feasted on korean food; and experienced the warmth of Korean hospitality. Thanks to Dr. and Mrs. Nam, and to our generous hosts.

Below is an impromptu performance of “An Irish Blessing” (Moore) at Chungdong Church, the first Protestant church in Korea. Behind us is the first pipe organ in Korea!

A few more photos and videos might be posted soon 😅

📣 To officially mark the beginning of the academic year, PBTS held its annual Convocation Service. This year's convocation message was delivered by Dr. Ferdinand Anno, president of Union Christian College. In his message, he reflected on the loss of Jesus' concrete ethics in favor of abstract and metaphysical discussions about the "Christ". Dr. Anno urged the recovery of both as essential to authentic Christian witness.

A prayer of dedication for the academic year was offered to commit PBTS's mission of theological education to God.

We’re back online, and before it’s too late, we would like to greet all the mothers a happy, happy Mother’s Day!

We are so blessed at the department to have two amazing mothers who selflessly offere their lives to Christ, serving as missionaries here at the Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary! Their love for Jesus and their families, as well as their dedication to musical excellence are worth emulating! To honor them, here is Tanglaw Singers with Teacher Cleo Jo and Teacher Yeojin Yu (Sarah) performing “He’s Got the Whole World,” arranged by Jeannard Carmen Ticong.

And to all the mothers out there, remember that no matter how challenging life gets sometimes, God’s got you! Again, 𝓗𝓪𝓹𝓹𝔂 𝓜𝓸𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻'𝓼 𝓓𝓪𝔂!
