This is one of my adult English classes. We normally have free talk sessions. We talk about anything under the sun. He's the same age as my husband. We talk about many things — his life as a husband and a dad, and how he faces his own struggles. He comes home from work at 8 pm and attends his class diligently at 9 pm. He's been my student for 2 years, and I'll be teaching his son in 4 years, since 2 months old palang.🤣

So last night, we talked about our first jobs. Nagwork sya sa KFC 20 years ago. He told me how he communicated with foreign customers in English, kung paano need nya tanungin kung anong gusto nila?

Student: I tell them, "S or no S?'
Me: What do you mean by S and no S?
Student: Do you want Spicy chicken or No Spicy chicken?

And yeah, the laughter continued😁
