The Innovation Camp for Grade Schoolers (ICGS) team is heading to Flora, Apayao this May 25, 2026 for the Apayao leg of our regional camp! 🙌

We’re thrilled to meet 150 young innovators and 30 inspiring teachers from across the province known as the 'Last Nature Frontier of the Cordillera' as we explore creativity, collaboration, and innovation together. ⛰️✨

The Innovation Camp for Grade Schoolers v. 2 Writeshop kicks off this December 12–13 at 456 Hotel Baguio, where our team will develop engaging modules and hands-on tasks for young learners and educators.

🌟 Innovation Camp for Grade Schoolers – Ifugao Leg 🌟
October 18, 2025 | Banaue, Ifugao

The Innovation Camp for Grade Schoolers in the Cordillera Administrative Region successfully concluded its Ifugao leg through the collaboration with the STEM Promotion Program of the Philippine Science High School – Cordillera Administrative Region Campus (PSHS-CARC).

The event gathered 51 students and 20 teachers from different schools across Banaue, Ifugao. The program opened with inspiring messages from representatives of local leaders — Ms. Evangeline Benohlan (School Principal Representative), Mr. Agustin Dupingay (Representative of the Municipal Mayor), and Mr. Ariel Barrias, STEM Promoter of PSHS-CARC. Special thanks as well to Ms. Mercedes Tayaban of the Schools Division Office (SDO) Ifugao for her presence and continuous support to the camp.

💡 The camp featured parallel sessions for teachers and students focusing on the Design Thinking Process aligned with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being.

Engr. Herodion B. Lagman facilitated the Empathize and Define phases for students, and the Define phase for teachers.

Engr. Roxanne L. Doyayag led the Empathize phase for teachers and the Prototype, Test, and Pitching sessions.

Ms. Rachel Tany-Lutong guided participants through the Ideate phase.

Ms. Geraldine Orasing delivered a meaningful talk on Mental Health for both students and teachers.

The activity culminated in a recognition ceremony, where certificates of participation were awarded, and the Best Prototypes from both teachers and students were celebrated.
