In the next four weeks, we’ll discuss the following in Theology Proper:
- Does God need anything?
- Was God lonely before Creation?
- If God is unchanging, why then does the Bible say that “God changed his mind”?
- Does God repent?
- Do prayers change God’s mind?
- Does God grow?
- Is God suffering with us? Does God feel our pain?
- Does God have mood swings?
- How does God view his people who sinned?
- Can we see God? Will we ever see God?
- If God is omnipresent, why the temple?
- If God is omnipresent, what does it mean to “draw near” to God or “be in his presence”?
- Is God present in Hell?
- If God is sovereign over all things, is he also the cause of sin and evil?
- If God can do all things, can he create a rock big enough that God cannot push it?
- If God is sovereign over all things, what does that mean about man’s free will?
- Does God know things that don’t exist?
- If God knows all things, how can he forget our sins?
