STATEMENT OF SUPPORT | Partido Reporma-ACS

Buong-buo ang suporta ng Isanliyab Servant Leaders' Union-FEU sa lahat ng kandidato ng Partido REPORMA-ACS para sa darating na SLU Student Elections 2022!

Kumpyansa ang nag-iisang premier student political organization sa FEU na walang alinlangang binibitbit ang panawagan ng REPORMA-ACS na pagpapanday ng bagong sistema na lahat ng estudyante ang makikinabang.

[𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓]

I could still remember the first time I got scouted to run for a position at SNS KASAMA/Supreme Student Council. I doubted myself because I had zero confidence on winning the elections and with that I mean the guts, the looks and the number of "supporters" - only my desire to lead and make a change. But I was told in return "You should run for a position not merely because you can WIN it, but you can DO it" and that exact astonishing moment I joined REPORMA-ACS with no doubt.

I got appointed and experienced first hand the life of an SSC officer, it was tough...really tough. To be qualified, we had to undergo series of screenings and trainings, endure criticisms and be fuelled once again with words of praise and admiration. That time damang dama ko na ang kasabihang "it takes one to know one".
But despite this, I never had feelings of regret because I had my REPO FAMILY who THINK and DO the same as I do. Having the intellectual power to be firm and STRONG on the things I want to pursue, HONEST and genuine to the people and COMMITTED to whatever task is given to me. That's when I had the full confidence that as long as I uphold the values of a REPORMA-ACS leader, I can successfully lead.

Kaya naman I am delighted to show my support on Partido Reporma ng mga mag-aaral ng San Luis - Alliance of concerned students for this coming elections! Major life choice din to mga sis, kaya choose wisely and vote smart! Vote for the best! Vote for? Alam niyo na yaaan - REPORMA-ACS! 🙂

[𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓]

Before joining REPORMA-ACS, I was a shy person who is scared to be vocal and to be able to stand up for what I know is true.

I would never have been the person I am right now if it wasn't for REPORMA-ACS. They were the ones who helped me overcome my fears of taking a stand, and who molded me in becoming a holistic leader with the proper attitude. After losing the elections when I ran for 2nd-year vice mayor of the School of Natural Sciences, they did not give up on me. REPORMA-ACS gave me an avenue to serve my fellow Louisians by being part of other organizations in our beloved University. And for that, I thank REPORMA-ACS for believing in me.

Being a medical frontliner is not an easy job especially now that we are still in a pandemic. That is why I am thankful for one of the most important lessons that I have learned from REPORMA ACS - which is to make a difference in my little ways just like what we have learned from the Starfish story. Seeing my patients and colleagues happy despite the challenges inside the halls of the hospitals, I know my simple act of kindness has helped them cheer up.

This upcoming KASAMA SSC elections, I am giving my full support to REPORMA-ACS. I believe that REPORMA-ACS will continue the legacy of a STRONG, HONEST, and COMMITTED leadership - not only in word but also in deed.
