Ms. Tora Be**no was the participant for the Annual Skills Olympics 2023 Open Category: Talking Bartender who concocted a langka-infused tropical cocktail. She graced the guests with her presence on the day together with another trainee, Ms. Jessica Borja.

𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝟐𝟐 𝐀𝐏𝐑 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐒𝐁𝐎) 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐚 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐒𝐇𝐌-𝐈𝐇𝐁𝐎 𝐇𝐁𝐉. They were taught the basics of flairtending by Ms. Beatriz Abad, a former Vice President of the Student Bartenders Organization and currently works at BSBT College as a Beverage Instructor, and Ms. Marla Dale Manayao, the owner of Starbrew Cafe. To this day, the SBO is in contact with their flairtending mentors and hopes to re-implement flairtending within their organization.

The skills olympics are annually organized to showcase skills aligned to the objectives of the School of International Hospitality Management, demonstrating mastery in knowledge and skills in the industry operations at par with international standards. We are grateful for you allowing us to try quality Arabica Coffee Beans from Costa Rica, Honduras, and Arabia! We have extremely enjoyed the experience of grinding and brewing coffee with you, as well as, getting to learn how to use the expresso machine and creating our own latte art.
