Exactly one month from now, we will welcome the first batch of Joyschoolers. How exciting!

Joy School Baguio is a project that has been bottled up for five years. When I first signed up for Joy School in 2015 to teach my two-year-old son, I already had the vision to establish a commercial Joy School in Baguio City. As it is with most pursuits that truly matter in my life, I was sensitive to God’s timetable for Joy School Baguio, and when it finally happened this year, the experience was so fluid that I knew for sure everything about Joy School Baguio has His stamp of approval. When you have this conviction, there is no limit to where you can take whatever project you start.

Joy School Baguio is a preschool for children from 2.5 to 3.11 years old. Its central philosophy is to teach children joy. Children, while in their most impressionable years, have the amazing ability to learn from their experiences in life. Which is why it is during these years that learning the most important things - like the joy of the body, the joy of earth, the joy of making and keeping goals - among others, while learning how to count, identifying body parts and their functions, learning colors and shapes, learning how to communicate - will set them up for life as well-adjusted individuals.

The Joy School programme and The Joy School of Logan Utah were established in 1976 by New York Times #1 best-selling authors and deliberate parenting advocates Linda and Richard Eyre. The spirit of Joy School is to bring an internationally acclaimed, developmentally appropriate and affordable preschool curriculum to as many families as possible. Any parent can purchase a license to access Joy School 2.0 which has all the materials needed to teach Joy School to a child. A commercial Joy School, such as what Joy School Baguio is, requires an additional fee and compliance with local government requirements for operating as a business.
