The Curriculum Implementation Division – Alternative Learning System (CID-ALS) conducted its meeting on June 10, 2026, at the SDO Baguio City 3rd Floor Training Hall, headed by Chief Juliet Sannad ,EdD.

Key agenda included the presentation and discussion of ALS data, focusing on enrollees, completers, and Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) Test results. Updates on the current enrollment status for the opening block of School Year 2026–2027 were likewise shared by ALS teachers from various schools.

The meeting served as a valuable platform for monitoring program performance, addressing implementation concerns, and strengthening collaborative efforts toward improving ALS delivery and learner outcomes in SDO Baguio City.

✨ Three-Day Training Successfully Concluded! ✨

The Schools Division of Baguio Alternative Learning System (ALS) has officially and successfully capped off its intensive three-day training workshop today, May 27, 2026. Hosted at the Pines Senior High School - ALS Room, the event focused on mastering the Revised ALS K to 10 Curriculum and navigating the crucial parameters of DepEd Order No. 001, s. 2026 (Implementing Guidelines of the Enhanced Alternative Learning System).

Over the last three days, our dedicated Baguio ALS implementers engaged in collaborative curriculum mapping, contextualized lesson planning, and deep-dive discussions on streamlined delivery mechanisms. These efforts ensure that the division is fully equipped to implement the newly enhanced guidelines effectively.

Equipped with the revised curriculum and enhanced guidelines, SDO Baguio ALS stands ready to champion a more inclusive, responsive, and resilient educational pathway for all youth and adult learners in Baguio City.

The training on the Revised ALS K–10 Curriculum continues. ALS teachers remain actively engaged in refining and enhancing their instructional methods.

The focus of Day 2 is to deepen teachers’ understanding of inclusive assessment strategies, learner profiling, and contextualized lesson design ensuring learning materials and approaches are relevant to the realities and needs of the community.

The presence and active supervision of Sir Alfredo Lanas, Regional ALS Focal Person, underscored the importance of this activity and further reinforced the commitment to professional growth throughout the session.

Day 1 of strengthening capacities, deepening understanding, and ensuring the effective implementation of the Revised ALS Framework, as we continue to advance inclusive and quality basic education, with the esteemed presence and guidance of CID Chief Juliet Sannad.

A meaningful start to a shared commitment toward more responsive and transformative learning opportunities for all ALS learners.

The training officially commences as our ALS Teachers engage in meaningful discussions and capacity-building activities aimed at strengthening the implementation of the revised ALS framework. Day 1 highlights the orientation of key provisions, policy directions, and foundational concepts essential in ensuring responsive, inclusive, and quality alternative learning delivery.

Together, we move forward in advancing learner-centered and flexible education opportunities for all.
