USE OF DRONES DURING PANAGBENGA 2026 PARADES

The use of any remotely piloted aircraft system (RPAS), or drones, is strictly prohibited along the parade routes during the Grand Street Dance on February 28 and the Grand Floral Parade on March 1, 2026.

Only four entities are authorized to operate drones during these events: the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO), the Philippine Military Academy (PMA), the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), and the Baguio Flower Festival Foundation Inc. (BFFFI), through their duly accredited drone operators.

This measure is in strict compliance with Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) regulations, which prohibit drone operations over people, populated areas, or public events, and require a minimum distance of at least 30 meters from any person not directly involved in the drone operation.

All are advised to comply accordingly.
