Please be informed that there will be additional updates regarding tomorrow’s orientation.

📌 Due to the large number of participants comprising BSN 1 students, transferees, and parents, it will not be feasible to accommodate the entire population in a single Google Meet session. Hence, the orientation will be conducted through two separate Google Meet sessions.

All students are advised to join the Google Meet link assigned to their respective block. Kindly ensure that you are accessing the correct link and joining your designated session on time.

To our freshies, WELCOME TO THE NURSING FAM! Your nursing era officially starts now. Don’t worry, you’ll get the hang of it… eventually. For now, enjoy being excited before the retdems find you.

In response, the SSC will be opening its office, located below the UB Cardinals Gym beside the SMART AVR above the ROTC Office starting on Monday, August 10, We can help explain your official options and, with your consent unless there is an immediate safety risk or legal requirement, personally connect or accompany you to the right office or external support service. Again, we are not investigators or judges.

Accountability and due process go hand in hand through fair, confidential, and survivor-centered support. Supporting someone who comes forward doesn't mean jumping to conclusions about anyone else, just as protecting fair process should never be an excuse for silence or inaction.

We remain committed to a University community where students know where to go, reports are heard without victim-blaming, support is accessible, investigations are independent, and findings provide guided action.

IN PHOTOS | Incoming Fourth-Year Nursing Students Attend EMS Orientation for Academic Year 2026–2027

August 3, 2026, The University of Baguio School of Nursing Level 4 students officially participated in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Orientation as they gear up for the Academic Year 2026–2027, equipping future nurses with essential knowledge and expectations for emergency medical response.

The session was facilitated by Ms. Roxanne Dace Tomilas of the Health Emergency Management Division, who provided an overview of the EMS program, emphasizing its role in pre-hospital care, emergency response, and the professional responsibilities expected of future healthcare practitioners.

The orientation served to strengthen students' understanding of the principles and protocols that guide emergency medical services while reinforcing the importance of preparedness, teamwork, and clinical competence in delivering quality patient care.

As they embark on their final year of nursing education, the activity reflects the University's continued commitment to preparing future nurses for the demands of professional practice through comprehensive learning experiences.
