𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐃𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐒𝐄𝐈 𝐒&𝐓 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐀𝐑.

In the pursuit of empowering the nation through education, the DOST - Cordillera Administrative Region, through the Scholarship Unit and the Provincial Offices in the region, will conduct a Scholarship Promotion. This effort aims to increase the number of scholars in the region and introduce the DOST-SEI S&T Undergraduate Scholarship Program to interested Grade 12 students for the academic year 2024-2025.

The scholarship promotion will begin in Ifugao from November 4-8 and in Benguet from November 4-6, 2024, followed by Kalinga and Abra from November 11-15; and finally, Apayao and Mt. Province from November 19-22, 2024.

Scholars under the DOST-Science Education Institute (SEI) program receive a monthly allowance of ₱8,000, regardless of their chosen fields in Science and Technology. In addition to this stipend, they qualify for group accident insurance and are entitled to a book allowance, a one-time clothing allowance, and one economy-class round-trip fare per year for students studying away from their home province. Furthermore, those enrolled in accredited private institutions can benefit from a tuition fee subsidy of up to ₱40,000 per academic year.

The deadline for submission is November 22, 2024. An in-person pen-and-paper qualifying examination is scheduled on April 5-6, 2025, at various test centers nationwide.

Distribution of books will be done in the afternoon for Grade 7-10 (1:00-4:00 PM) and Tuesday Morning after the Orientation for Grade 11-12
