As you step forward on another journey in your life, may you never forget all the things you have experienced in college. The good and bad times, the sad and happy moments, may you always cherish them. Without those, you would not be able to be the person you are today. Remember those times you cried over failed marks, those breakdowns from mountains of requirements, those times when you felt like giving up. All of those have become worth it.

Finally, you have reached one of the most significant milestones in your life. You have overcome most of the challenges in education; the first batch of graduates in the K-12 curriculum, a pandemic, and many more. Despite these challenges, you have shined more than what was expected of you. You deserve a big congratulations! Undoubtedly, your glow will burn brighter once you step into your future.

A saying goes, “All people should be treated equally, regardless of who they are or love.” This month we celebrate pride month, and it is but right to treat every individual equally despite our differences.

The LGBTQ+ community is a group of people we would associate with the word brave. It takes a lot of courage to stand up and express who you are. It takes bravery to overcome all the challenges of showing your authentic self.

It is our duty that every individual feels welcomed and part of the group. 𝗔 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀. As future educators, let us do our best to make every classroom inclusive. We should ensure that every student is not discriminated against and judged by their identity.
