Incoming Grade 7 students of Baguio City High School, are you ready to let your talent shine? Step into the spotlight and become part of the Special Program in the Arts Choir! 🌟

If you have a passion for music, harmony, and performance, this is your chance to grow your voice, build confidence, and perform with excellence alongside fellow young artists.

ELIGIBILITY

Auditions are open to all incoming Grade 7 students who meet the following criteria:

1. Ability to read musical notation
2. Sings in an ensemble or chorus
3. Being capable of playing any musical instrument

SCREENING PROCESS

Auditionees will undergo a comprehensive screening, which includes:

A. Performing one piece in English or Filipino
B. Sight Reading
C. Tuning Assessment

We want to give a sincere shoutout to our Alumnus, Kuya Mark, whose journey from the Baguio City High School SPA Vocals program to his current membership in the world-renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers serves as a beautiful reminder of what can be achieved through faith and hard work. The BCHS Young Minstrels Choir, together with Special Program in the Arts: Theatre Arts, showcased their amazing talents during their Christmas cantata entitled "Bagahe”. They successfully performed two shows that won over the audience's hearts with their beautiful melodies and stories to tell.

They would like to express gratitude to their supportive BCHS Family, SPA Family, Parents, Teachers, and to those who came to watch. They hope that you have enjoyed the show. Most importantly, gratitude in our hearts, God, for your grace.
