โ€œEver since I remember, I've read. I've loved reading anything. Up until now, I've read more than three hundred books,โ€ says 17-year-old Taieba from Bangladesh.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many people picked up reading as a hobby. What's your favourite read? Tell us in the comments.

Carmelians, we are here to listen.. ๐Ÿ˜Š

"Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light๐Ÿ•ฏ"
- Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban ๐Ÿ“š

Adolescence and young adulthood present many new opportunities. But this time of change can also be stressful and cause depression.

You are not alone! ๐Ÿ’š

If you think you might have depression, talk to someone you trust or seek professional help.

A blessed All Saintโ€™s Day and All Soulโ€™s Day! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Did you know?
โ€ฆthe first Filipino saint was Lorenzo Ruiz, he was the son of a Chinese father and a Filipino mother. He served happily in his parish church as an altar boy and calligrapher. Saint Lorenzo Ruiz is the patron saint of Filipino youth, the Philippines, people working overseas, and altar servers.

..the term Undas is an abbreviated word for โ€œuna dia para todas las almas y santosโ€ which translates to โ€œa day for all souls and saintsโ€. We also light a candle which means to give light to our departed loved and keeping the light burning in remembrance signifies that the memory still lives on and burns bright.
