Second year students from the 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 recently took part in an artwork-based activity in their 𝘛𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘌𝘭𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘴 class, facilitated by Ms. Jenny Agtani. The session focused on 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙘𝙖𝙥𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜, giving future teachers hands-on experience with brushes, poster colors, and illustration boards.

The activity emphasized the importance of mastering technical skills to teach arts meaningfully. Students learned to prepare materials, manage time, and apply brush techniqueswhile being reminded that the process matters more than the final product.

Despite challenges like limited time and space, positive reinforcement and constructive feedback helped students gain confidence in their strokes and creativity. The experience highlighted that teaching arts is not just academic—it’s about application, expression, and empowering learners.

Last February 20, the Association of Math and Science Educators of Private and Public Schools (ASMEPPS) successfully conducted its 𝟏𝟐𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 participated in by various schools from across the country.

Our BEED faculty members were given the privilege to serve as judges and facilitators during the Math and Science Champions events.
✨ 𝙈𝙧. 𝙍𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙠 𝘽𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙧. 𝙅𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙮 𝘽𝙪𝙚𝙣𝙤 facilitated the Sudoku competition.
✨ 𝙈𝙧. 𝙉𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙨. 𝙅𝙪𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙮𝙣 𝙋𝙚𝙣𝙧𝙖𝙙 handled the Scidama competition for Grades 9 and 10.

This meaningful participation highlights that our teachers are not only dedicated and effective inside the classroom, but are also actively contributing their expertise beyond school walls, supporting excellence in Math and Science education nationwide.
