📢 FRESHMEN & TRANSFEREE ORIENTATION – DAY 2 POSTPONED

In light of the University Advisory dated August 18, 2026, and pursuant to Malacañang Memorandum Circular No. 129, face-to-face classes and student activities are suspended due to the continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon.

As a result, the Freshmen & Transferee Orientation – Day 2, originally scheduled for August 19, 2026, is POSTPONED.

This affects the following departments:

• CONSM
• CHTM
• COE

The rescheduled date for Day 2 will be announced at a later time. Please wait for the official announcement.

For Day 1 (CCJE, CTELA, and CBA), the orientation remains scheduled for August 20, 2026 (Thursday), unless a suspension of face-to-face activities is officially ordered.

The rescheduled Day 1 orientation will be attended by the following departments:

📌 Day 2 – August 19, 2026 (Wednesday)
The orientation for the following departments will continue as scheduled:
• CONSM
• CHTM
• COE

Please note that Day 2 will proceed unless a suspension of face-to-face activities is officially ordered.

Everyone is encouraged to regularly check the official Baguio Central University page for announcements and updates regarding possible class or activity suspensions.

Due to Memorandum Circular No. 128 from the Office of the President of the Philippines and the prevailing weather conditions brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), Baguio Central University announces that Day 1 of the Freshmen & Transferee Orientation, originally scheduled for August 18, 2026, is postponed.

The orientation for CCJE, CTELA, and CBA will be rescheduled. The new date will be announced once conditions permit.

📌 Day 2 – August 19, 2026 for CONSM, CHTM, and COE will continue as scheduled unless face-to-face activities are suspended.

📌 Low Income Certification from your Barangay (Purpose: UniFAST-TDP)
📌 Latest Enrollment Certificate (Original copy with dry seal)
📌 One (1) recent 2×2 ID picture
📌 Photocopy of School ID (Front and Back; ID must be addressed in Baguio City)

The Guidance Services Office is now accepting applications for Educational Assistance.

Eligible students are encouraged to submit the following requirements:

📌 Requirements:
• Low Income Certification from your Barangay (Purpose: Financial Assistance / Educational Assistance)
• Latest Enrollment Certificate or Registration Form (Original copy with dry seal)
• One (1) recent 2×2 ID picture
• Photocopy of your School ID (Front and Back) — Your School ID must be addressed at Baguio City.
• Photocopy of your National ID (Front and Back) — Your National ID must be addressed at Baguio City.

✅ Applicants must be officially enrolled for the First Semester, S.Y. 2026–2027.

📅 Submission Schedule:
July 17, 2026 (ONLY)
🕗 8:00 AM – 12:00 NN

📍 Please proceed to the BCU Guidance Services Office and coordinate with the Guidance Counselor to secure your application slot.

BCU students who are enrolled for the First Semester A.Y. 2026–2027 may now apply for the City of Baguio Scholarship Grant.

📍 Proceed to the BCU Guidance Services Office for endorsement and submit the required documents.

⏰ Visit us as soon as possible to secure your slot!
You may visit until July 11, 2026, or come back on July 16–18, 2026, from 8:00 AM–12:00 NN and 1:00 PM–5:00 PM.
