September 1, 2026 - Despite the rainy and windy weather, our brave and enthusiastic scouts proudly joined the 117th Baguio Day Celebration held at the Baguio Convention Center.

The weather may have been challenging, but it never dampened their spirit of service, camaraderie, and love for Baguio! 💪✨ Our scouts, with their Troop Leader Emilia Tulicnang, stood strong and proudly represented our school as they took part in this meaningful celebration.

After the program, our scouts continued the day with Escoda Day, commemorating the life and legacy of Josefa Llanes Escoda, founder of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines. 🌸

Empowered Leaders, Inspired Scouts: Celebrating Excellence in GSP

The spirit of leadership and service shone brightly as troop leaders gathered for the Troop Leaders' Round Table and Awarding Ceremony of the GSP Baguio Council, held on August 1, 2026, at Venus Parkview Hotel. The event recognized the dedication and outstanding contributions of Girl Scout leaders in shaping future generations.

Adding pride to our school community, seven troop leaders- Ms. Mary Joy Pascual, Ms. Mary Sassy Coquia, Ms. Jerjean Away, Ms. Emilia Tulicnang, Ms. Lei Odayan, Ms. Elena Biba and Ms. Nellie Domngal, were honored for their unwavering commitment to the Girl Scout movement. Their recognition reflects their passion for mentoring young scouts and promoting the values of service, leadership, and excellence.

The celebration became even more meaningful as two of our distinguished leaders received special recognition as Credentialed Trainers. Nellie Domngal was acknowledged for her achievement in 2024, while Emilia Tulicnang was recognized for 2026.

Sharing Healthy Snacks, Building Caring Hearts

As part of the school's Nutrition Month celebration, learners enthusiastically participated in today's Share-a-Snack Activity during their breaktime, bringing and sharing nutritious snacks with their classmates.

More than promoting healthy eating habits, the activity encouraged handwashing habit, kindness, generosity, and friendship as learners experienced the joy of sharing with one another.

Through this meaningful initiative, the school strengthened its commitment to nurturing not only healthy bodies but also compassionate hearts. Together, we celebrate wellness, unity, and the spirit of giving—one healthy snack at a time. 🌿🍎🥪

PRA Highlights Learner Safety and Academic Excellence at Pinget Elementary School
July 22, 2026. The Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA), an agency under the Department of Tourism, visited Pinget Elementary School to observe and document the implementation of the Yell and Tell Program.

The program was introduced by Michael Turck, a retired teacher from the United States who chose to settle in Barangay Pinget after his retirement. Designed to safeguard learners both inside and outside the classroom, the Yell and Tell Program teaches children to raise their voices to attract attention and immediately inform a trusted adult whenever they encounter unsafe situations. PRA officials filmed the activity to showcase its impact on promoting child safety in schools and communities.

Alongside the safety initiative, Turck also organized a Math Remedial Contest for Grades 5 and 6 learners. The contest aimed to strengthen mathematical skills, and foster academic excellence among learners.
School administrators expressed appreciation for PRA’s involvement, noting that the combined focus on safety and academics reflects the holistic development goals of Pinget Elementary School. With programs like Yell and Tell and the Math Remedial Contest, the school community continues to nurture learners who are both academically capable and safety-conscious citizens.

To our dear Parents and Guardians,

We would like to inform everyone that all learners, teaching personnel, and staff are safe following the earthquake felt earlier today.

As part of our emergency response protocol, learners immediately performed the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure. When the shaking stopped, everyone safely proceeded to the designated evacuation area, where a complete headcount and safety check were conducted.

We are pleased to inform you that all learners were accounted for and no injuries were reported.

We thanked our learners, teachers, staff, parents, and guardians for their cooperation and calm response during this situation. Let us continue to remain vigilant and prepared for possible aftershocks.

Hulyo 8, 2026 - Matagumpay na sumailalim ang ilang mga babaeng mag-aaral ng Baitang 5 sa ikalawang dose ng Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination na isinagawa ng mga nurses mula sa Pinsao Health Center.

Layunin ng HPV vaccination na maprotektahan ang mga kababaihan laban sa Human Papillomavirus (HPV). Sa pamamagitan ng pagbabakuna, mas napapalakas ang proteksyon ng ating mga kabataan laban sa mga seryosong karamdaman.

Sinusuportahan ng PiES ang mga programang pangkalusugan ng Department of Health (DOH) na naglalayong mapangalagaan ang kalusugan, kaligtasan, at kapakanan ng bawat mag-aaral.

💉💙 Sama-sama nating isulong ang isang malusog at ligtas na kinabukasan para sa ating mga kabataan!
