Pinget Elementary School Kicks Off ARAL Summer Class 2026!
Pinget Elementary School officially kicked off its ARAL Summer Class today, May 6, 2026, with a simple opening program and parent orientation. A small group of parents and guardians joined the identified learners to show their support for the program.
School Principal Alice B. Masidong, encouraged everyone by emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and strong family support. About 20 learners are expected to participate, guided by ARAL tutors Teacher Eden Rose Balicdang and Teacher Emilia Tulicnang.
After the orientation, learners enjoyed a “getting to know you” activity followed by their first ARAL Reading Session.
The faculty and staff wish every learner a summer brimming with joy, discovery and exciting learning adventure!

Faith, Gratitude, and Character: A Meaningful Thanksgiving Mass

With grateful hearts, our school community gathered for a Thanksgiving Mass attended by our Grade six learners together with their parents and guardians, as well as our academic awardees from Grades one to five.

The solemn celebration was officiated by Fr. Bernard Agarpao, OFM. In his message, he emphasized that in today’s world, what people truly need are faith and character—guiding values that our learners are encouraged to live by each day. 💖

May this moment inspire everyone to continue striving with humility and excellence, always grounded in faith and good character.

Empowered Women, Stronger Community!

As part of Women's Celebration, faculty members of Pinget Elementary School and Pinget National High School came together for an inspiring seminar on women’s rights and privileges, celebrating empowerment and equality.

Led by Angelica Claur Tiongco, the guidance associate designate of ECI, the session sparked meaningful conversations on respect, protection, and the vital role of women in society.

Truly, a powerful step toward building a more inclusive and empowered community!

Project PATEG Culminates: A Celebration of Learning and Teamwork!

Pinget Elementary School proudly held the Project PATEG Culminating Program today. The activity brought together learners, tutors, and teachers in a joyful celebration of learning and friendship.

One of the most exciting parts of the event was the Choral Reading Presentations 🎤📖 from Grades 4, 5, and 6. The learners confidently performed with actions, expression, and teamwork, showcasing their improved reading skills and creativity. The audience truly enjoyed their lively and meaningful presentations! 👏😊

The program also featured Testimonial Sharing 💬, where tutor and tutee representatives shared their inspiring experiences and how Project PATEG helped them grow in confidence and learning.

A meaningful Challenge to the Tutors, Acceptance of the Challenge, and Message of Thanks symbolized the commitment to continue helping learners succeed.

The event concluded with the Awarding of Certificates📜, surprise awards and the Closing Message from the school principal.

This year marks the fourth year of partnership between the CTE–NSTP of Benguet State University and Pinget Elementary School, a collaboration that continues to strengthen learning and service in the community. 🤝🌟

Pinget Elementary School actively participated in the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) conducted today, March 12, to strengthen disaster preparedness among learners and staff. ⛑️

Through the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” practice, the school community demonstrated awareness and readiness in responding safely during earthquake emergencies. 🚨
