On the unforgettable evening of July 2, 2025, the graduating class of the Saint Louis University School of Medicine Batch 2025 came together to honor a journey marked by perseverance, sacrifice, and triumph. Held at the elegant Cordillera Convention Hall, Baguio Country Club, the Gabi ng Parangal served not only as a formal recognition of academic and personal accomplishments but also as a heartfelt tribute to the people who made this milestone possible, our parents, families, benefactors, mentors, and friends.
The evening radiated with warmth, gratitude, and pride as each graduate took a moment to look back on the years of rigorous training, long hours, and shared dreams that brought them to this day. With the presence of our ever-supportive faculty and staff, led by our esteemed Dean, Dr. John Anthony Domantay, the event became a testament to the collaborative spirit that defines the SLU medical community.
Beyond academic achievements, the night celebrated the growth of each students,highlighting leadership, service, resilience, and camaraderie cultivated throughout medical school. Recognition was also given to exemplary individuals who excelled in both academic and non-academic fields, underscoring the well-rounded excellence of Batch 2025.
To our beloved parents, relatives, and generous benefactors, your unwavering support, sacrifices, and love have been the foundation of our success. This night was, above all, a tribute to you. To our mentors at the SLU School of Medicine, SLU-Sacred Heart Medical Center and BGHMC, thank you for lighting our path and nurturing us into compassionate and competent future physicians.
As we move forward to the next chapter of our lives, may we carry the values instilled in us with pride and purpose.

Saint Louis University (SLU) proudly congratulates the School of Medicine (SOM) for their stellar performance at the Association of Philippine Medical Colleges (APMC) Student Network National Convention in Pasig City on 3 to 5 May 2024.
Of the 23 entries, the Rotaract Club of Baguio SLU-School of Medicine and the SOM Medical Outreach Missions Fellowship Initiative (MOMFI) are among the Ten Outstanding Medical Student Organizations (TOMSO).
TOMSO award recognizes excellence in the delivery of community service programs by a group of medical students from APMC member schools sponsored by an affiliated student organization/s in an APMC-SN member school.
Likewise, SLU also celebrates the talented team of Angelo Dela Cruz Pabustan, Ruselle Eliza Amangan Cuaresma, Wenchille Angara Aquien, Miguel IV Retuya Aragon, Maridale Dimagan Fastidio, Lourea Ada Espiritu Catbagan, and Grace Hallel Santonia on their achievement as 2nd Runner-up in the Clinico-Pathologic Case Conference Competition.
The APMC-SN National and Regional Clinico-Pathologic Case (CPC) Competition is a national competition open to all medical students of APMC-accredited schools. The teams are provided with a clinical case with sufficient information to derive differentials and a most likely diagnosis which will be presented in an oral presentation highlighting the deductive process.
Congratulations once again, SOM! Your achievement not only inspires the Louisian community, but is a testament to providing excellent community service.

[BINNADANGโ A DONATION DRIVE INITIATIVE FOR THE VICTIMS OF TYPHOON EGAY]

Last year, in the same month, the province of Abra was struck by a deadly magnitude 7.2 Luzon earthquake, which brought difficulty in the lives of Abrenios. Now, supertyphoon Egay left a devastating situation in the province.
In the Cordillera region, we believe in the essence of โBinnadangโ. This is the Igorot way of helping others in times of hardship or need. In line with this, We, the student leaders from Saint Louis University, are knocking on your generous hearts for monetary and in-kind donations for the people of Abra.
We are accepting monetary and in-kind donations for the people of Poblacion West, Pidigan, Abra, as they were one of the most heavily affected places in the province.

This project aims to increase the socio-civic responsibility of medical students in Luzon while addressing the nation's blood supply shortage.
