30th NATIONAL AUTISM CONSCIOUSNESS WEEK

This year’s theme, “Mula Kamalayan Tungo sa Gawa: Pag-unlad ng Autism-OK Philippines” (From Awareness to Action: Advancing an Autism-OK Philippines), underscores the urgent need to move beyond awareness and translate undestanding into meaningful, sustained action. It envisions a truly inclusive society where individuals on the autism spectrum are fully supported, valued, and empowered to participate with dignity in all aspects of community life.

Heirarchy of Prompts

When it comes to prompting, there are so many different ways to do it!

Use the least amount of prompting that ensures the most amount of success!

As ABA practitioners, we want to foster independence. We want to fade prompts quickly but not at the risk of losing the skill. Graduated guidance provides us with a system to fade the prompts at the pace that is most beneficial to the learner.
