EARTH HOUR 2026

Tonight, let’s stand together for our planet. From 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, we switch off our lights and switch on our commitment to a better future.

What is Earth Hour?
Earth Hour is a global movement that encourages people, communities, and organizations to turn off non-essential lights for one hour to raise awareness about climate change and environmental protection. It’s a simple act with a powerful message: together, we can make a difference. Organized by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), this annual global event celebrates its 20th year this 2026.

As stewards of science and the environment, the Science Club Centralians promote Earth Hour to inspire awareness, responsibility, and action. Through this initiative, we aim to educate others on sustainability, energy conservation, and the importance of protecting our only home—Earth.

Let’s unite, take action, and be part of the change.
