The ABHAYA โ€“ English Club successfully held its Election of Officers for Academic Year 2026โ€“2027, marking the beginning of another year filled with new leaders, new responsibilities, and new opportunities to grow and serve.

The program started with an opening prayer, followed by the opening remarks of our ABHAYA Moderator, Mr. Elmar Puerto, who shared words of encouragement and guidance as the organization welcomed a new set of leaders.

The outgoing officers were then presented by the ABHAYA Incumbent Chairperson, Jhulia Mae Cabrera, giving everyone a moment to recognize and appreciate their contributions and service to the organization.

The election officially began, and we are proud to welcome Christianna Cain Chua as the newly elected Chairperson, and John Mark Oliver Radoc as the newly elected Vice Chairperson of ABHAYA โ€“ English Club.

Adding meaning and creativity to the gathering was the Art Exhibition of Miss Christine Joy Labayan, held in celebration of the 48th National Disability Rights Week. The exhibition was introduced by Ms. Ma. Lucille del Castillo, SASO Coordinator, highlighting the importance of inclusion, self-expression, and recognizing the talents and voices of every individual.

The election continued as the organization selected its new set of officers who will take on the responsibility of leading ABHAYA throughout A.Y. 2026โ€“2027.

The program concluded with the closing remarks from our newly elected Chairperson, followed by a photo opportunity that captured the smiles and memories shared by the ABHAYA family on this meaningful day.

To our newly elected officers, congratulations! May you lead with heart, serve with purpose, and continue to make ABHAYA a space where everyone can learn, express themselves, and grow together.
