MBA Forest Technical School Inc. – Diploma in Agri-Business Technology | Philippine Carabao Center Laboratory Activity
The MBA Forest Technical School Inc. – Diploma in Agri-Business Technology students recently conducted an educational and laboratory visit to the Philippine Carabao Center (PCC), providing them with a meaningful opportunity to connect classroom learning with actual agricultural practices.
Throughout this one-day hands-on activity, the students were exposed to various important areas of livestock production and reproductive biotechnology, including:
🌱 Silage Making – learning the principles and practical techniques of forage preservation for sustainable livestock feeding;
🐂 Artificial Insemination (AI) – gaining firsthand knowledge of reproductive management and the importance of AI in improving livestock production;
🔬 Pregnancy Diagnosis – observing the proper procedures used in determining pregnancy status and understanding its significance in herd reproductive management; and
🥛 Milking Operations – observing proper milking practices, dairy management, and the importance of hygienic milk production.
This activity provided our students with valuable practical, technical, and experiential learning beyond the classroom. It strengthened their understanding of how scientific knowledge, modern technology, and proper farm management can contribute to a more productive and sustainable livestock industry.
As TESDA scholars, these students are being equipped not only with technical competencies but also with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to become future agricultural professionals and productive contributors to the development of the country’s agricultural sector. 🇵🇭🌾
We sincerely extend our gratitude to the Philippine Carabao Center and its dedicated staff for their warm welcome, technical guidance, demonstrations, and full cooperation in making this learning activity possible. Your support has greatly enriched our students’ educational experience and helped bring theory into meaningful practice.
Learning does not end inside the classroom it becomes more meaningful when students experience it in the field.
Thank you, Philippine Carabao Center, for being part of our students’ journey toward becoming competent, skilled, and future-ready agricultural professionals.

As part of their learning activity, MBA students conducted a coconut planting activity, putting into practice the importance of environmental care, sustainable agriculture, and responsible land management.

This hands-on activity provided students with an opportunity to contribute to a greener environment while gaining practical experience in planting and caring for agricultural crops.

Through simple actions like planting a coconut tree, our students help cultivate not only the land but also a culture of environmental responsibility and sustainability.
