The Pinning of Ranks and Closing Ceremony of the Cadet Officers Qualifying Course SY 2025–2026 was held at Cagayan State University Carig Campus, marking a significant achievement for cadets of Saint Joseph’s College of Baggao.

ACTUAL FIRING TRAINING

The 2nd Year BS Criminology students of the Sinag-Tikas Batch successfully conducted their Actual Firing Activity at the PRAETORIAN SHOOTING Range as part of their practical requirement in the Marksmanship subject.

The activity was supervised by their instructor, Fr. Rick Pagaddu, who ensured that students were able to apply the proper fundamentals of firearm safety, handling, and accuracy learned in the classroom.

To further strengthen the safety and technical aspect of the training, personnel from the 17th Infantry Battalion Charlie Company of the Philippine Army were invited to serve as Range Officers, providing professional guidance and supervision throughout the firing exercises.

The activity aimed to enhance the students’ competence in firearm handling, discipline, and responsibility—essential skills for future law enforcement professionals.

Last February 13, 2026, the College of Criminal Justice Education proudly partnered with the Philippine Red Cross in a meaningful blood donation drive dedicated to saving lives and promoting humanitarian service.

Out of 300 students who bravely underwent the screening process, 40 qualified to donate. In addition, Ma’am Marissa Q. Palomares, Sir Alberto Calixto, and Sir Vince Arnedo also participated in this noble cause. Through their collective efforts, a total of 43 bags of blood were successfully donated — 43 opportunities to give hope and life to those in need.

This activity reflects the true spirit of service, compassion, and leadership. Our future criminologists proved that beyond enforcing the law, they are ready to serve humanity. 🩸
