Sa bawat pagpatak ng araw ng Araw ng Kagitingan, muling nagbabalik sa ating alaala ang nag-aalab na tapang at busilak na sakripisyo ng ating mga bayani. Sa gitna ng labanan, sa gitna ng pagsubok, sila ay buong-pusong nanindigan para sa Inang Bayan, hindi inalintana ang sariling buhay. Ang kanilang dugo at pawis ang lumikha ng mga pahina ng kasaysayan, na naging matatag na haligi ng kalayaan na ating tinatamasa ngayon.✨

Higit pa sa paggunita, ito ay isang paalala na ang diwa ng kanilang kabayanihan ay nananatili sa bawat isa sa atin. Nawa'y ang kanilang kwento ay patuloy na magbigay-lakas at inspirasyon upang ipagpatuloy ang kanilang ipinaglaban – ang pagkakaisa, pagmamahal sa bayan, at pagpapatuloy ng isang Pilipinas na malaya at maunlad. Today is “World Health Day” and here at Barkada Kontra Bisyo, we’re celebrating more than just physical fitness—we’re celebrating the ultimate freedom that comes with being vice-free. 🚫🍺🚭

Choosing to walk away from harmful habits isn't always easy, but it is always worth it. When we say "NO TO VICES", we aren't just giving things up; we are gaining so much more in return:
• Better Lungs: To breathe in the fresh air of every new opportunity.
• A Stronger Heart: To keep up with the people and passions we love.
• A Sharper Mind: To make better decisions and lead our community with clarity. 🧠✨

That is the real flex. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about being better than we were yesterday.

At BKB, we believe that no one has to do this alone. Our strength lies in our brotherhood/sisterhood—reminding each other that we don't need a "FIX" to have a good time or to handle stress. We have each other.

Catch-up session with our Principal, Sir Dave D. Basto, bringing together school organizations from SUPREME SECONDARY LEARNER GOVERNMENT (SSLG), BARKADA KONTRA BISYO (BKB), and YOUTH ENVIRONMENT IN SCHOOL ORGANIZATION (YES-O).

The focus was on fostering unity across all our school organizations, ensuring we move forward as one strong team. Great advice from Sir Dave – we thank him so much for his valuable guidance and leadership insights.

Sir Dave emphasized that leading isn't just about planning activities and programs – it's about serving and uplifting our whole school community. He highlighted how each organization plays a unique and important role, and that true progress comes when SSLG, BKB, and YES-O work hand in hand, listen to every member of our school, and focus on initiatives that create real, lasting impact.

Big things coming your way – stay tuned for exciting projects and events carefully crafted for all students and staff.
