โ€œIf education is promised to all, why must some students carry heavier burdens just to reach the same finish line?โ€
During a school activity, the crowd was buzzing with excitement. In the middle of the program, a student with dwarfism, often overlooked and underestimated, stepped forward. This student was not only studying but also working late nights to afford daily baon and transportation.
Every day was a battleโ€”balancing work and academics, enduring exhaustion, and facing discrimination from peers who mocked their height and doubted their ability to succeed. Yet, instead of giving up, the student chose to rise above.
On stage, the student spoke with courage, sharing the reality of being a working student with a disability. The message was clear: โ€œWe are not defined by our bodies, but by our determination to finish what we started.โ€
The hall fell silent. For the first time, classmates and teachers saw beyond the disability. They saw resilience, leadership, and strength.
That moment sparked change. Students began to rally for inclusivity, demanding reforms that would support PWDs and working scholars alike. Schools responded with ramps, flexible schedules, accessible learning materials, and representation in student councils.
What began as one studentโ€™s voice during a simple activity grew into a movement that challenged the entire system to rethink equality.
Discrimination is not just spoken through cruel words; it can also be built into walls, systems, and structures that refuse to recognize potential. The struggle is not only for one student with dwarfism, but for every PWD who dreams of graduating despite exhaustion, ridicule, and barriers.
Their courage is proof that resilience can shake institutions and awaken communities.

"Ang g**o ang ilaw ng tahanan ng karunungan." Isang katagang nagpapaalala na ang g**o ang tanglaw na nagbibigay-liwanag sa landas ng karunungan. Ngunit sa paglipas ng panahon, tila ang ilawang minsang naging tanglaw ng bawat pangarap ay unti-unti nang nauupos, hindi dahil nawala ang alab ng mga g**o na magturo, kundi dahil unti-unting hinihipan ng makabagong panahon ang liwanag ng kanilang bokasyon.

Ang mga g**o ay hindi lamang tagapagturo. Sila ang ilawang unang sumasalubong sa dilim ng kamangmangan, ang ningas na nagbibigay alab sa mga pangarap, at ang tanglaw na gumagabay sa bawat hakbang ng kabataan. Sa bawat ospital na may doktor, sa bawat hukuman na may abogado, sa bawat tulay na itinayo ng inhinyero, at sa bawat pinunong naglilingkod sa bayan, may isang ilawang minsang nagbigay-liwanag sa kanilang pangarap. Isang g**ong nagturo hindi lamang ng mga aralin, kundi ng dangal, disiplina, at respeto. Ngunit paano magbibigay-liwanag ang isang ilawang unti-unti nang pinapatay ng hangin ng pang-aabuso, pananakot, at kawalang-paggalang?

May mga g**ong pumapasok sa paaralan hindi lamang bitbit ang mga aklat at aralin, kundi pati ang pangambang baka ang simpleng pagsaway ay mauwi sa reklamo, ang pagtutuwid ay mapagkamalang pang-aapi, at ang pagdidisiplina ay maituring na paglabag. The aspiring student leaders of BPSUโ€“Bagac Campus took the stage to present their platforms, visions, and commitment to serving the student body during the Meeting De Avance held on July 17, 2026, at Bagumbayan Court, Bagac, Bataan.
More than a campaign, the event gave students the opportunity to learn about each candidate's plans and choose the leaders who will represent the campus.
