Sa Bataan High School for the Arts, naniniwala kaming ang bawat pagkakataong matuto ay daan tungo sa mas mapalalim na pag-unawa sa sining, kultura, at malikhaing pagpapahayag. Sa bawat karanasang natatamo ng aming mga mag-aaral at g**o, lalo naming pinagtitibay ang aming hangaring hubugin ang mga artistang may husay, malasakit, at pagmamahal sa bayan.

Isang taos-pusong pagbati sa ating mga iskolar at g**o na matagumpay na naging bahagi ng Papet PlayLab 2026 ng Teatrong Mulat ng Pilipinas. Sa bawat sesyon ng pagsulat, paglikha ng mga puppet, malikhaing kolaborasyon, at iba pang gawaing pampanitikan at pansining, hindi lamang nila nahasa ang kanilang mga kasanayan, kundi lalo rin nilang pinagyaman ang kanilang pagkamalikhain, disiplina, pakikipagtulungan, at tiwala sa sarili.

Higit pa sa mga bagong natutuhang kaalaman at kasanayan, naging paalala ang karanasang ito na ang sining ay patuloy na umuunlad sa bawat artistang handang matuto, magsanay, makinig, at magbahagi ng mga kuwentong may kabuluhan.

Buong pusong naming ipinaaabot ang pasasalamat sa Teatrong Mulat ng Pilipinas at sa lahat ng bumubuo ng Papet PlayLab 2026 sa paglalaan ng inyong panahon, pagbabahagi ng kaalaman, at sa inyong dedikasyon sa pagpapaunlad ng sining. Maraming salamat sa paglikha ng isang ligtas, mapagpalaya, at makabuluhang espasyo para sa pagkatuto at sa patuloy na pagbibigay-inspirasyon sa susunod na henerasyon ng mga kabataang alagad ng sining.

Mula sa lalawigan ng Bataan, patuloy naming ipinagmamalaki ang talento, kultura, at pagkamalikhain ng kabataang Pilipino.

Patuloy tayong lilikha.
Patuloy tayong magsasalaysay.
Patuloy nating isasabuhay ang sining para sa bayan.

Bagac, Bataan — The Bataan High School for the Arts (BHSA) conducted BAGANI: Ang PAK-Tatalaga sa mga Opisyal ng mga Samahan ng Paaralan, highlighted by the oath-taking of the School Governance Council (SGC), Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), Supreme Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA), Homeroom Parent-Teacher Association (HRPTA), Faculty Association, Non-Teaching Personnel Association,and student-led clubs.

More than a ceremonial gathering, the event signified the school's proactive approach to school-based management by through functional governance mechanisms that support evidence-based planning, policy implementation, learner welfare, and institutional accountability.

The ceremony was further enriched by the presence of distinguished local leaders and community partners whose messages reinforced the importance of shared responsibility in education. Representing Governor Jose Enrique S. Garcia III, Hon. Romano "Popoy" Del Rosario emphasized that a strong and united community is indispensable in nurturing future leaders and artists, affirming the Provincial Government's continued support for BHSA's mission.

Police Major Michelle Agnetha B. Gaviola, Chief of PNP Bagac, likewise expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to serve the Municipality of Bagac and its young artists, reaffirming the Philippine National Police's commitment to safeguarding learners and strengthening its partnership with the school.

The program also recognized the steadfast support of Hon. Neil Patrick Dela Rosa, Municipal Councilor of Bagac, and Ms. Cindy Pineda of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), whose presence reflected the strong collaboration among local government agencies, community stakeholders, and BHSA.

Their participation highlighted the collective commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment where every scholar can flourish academically, artistically, and personally.

Through BAGANI, strengthened stakeholder partnerships, and fully operational governance structures, the school lays a strong foundation for a school year defined by responsive public service and a shared commitment to nurturing young artists who excel in academics, the arts, and responsible citizenship.

In line with DepEd Order No. 026, s. 2022, Bataan High School for the Arts (BHSA) successfully conducted its Initial Meeting and Organization of the School Governance Council (SGC), bringing together key internal and external stakeholders in support of participatory and collaborative school governance.

The meeting was attended by representatives from the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), Bagac Philippine National Police (PNP), BHSA non-teaching personnel, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) President, and other invited stakeholders, reflecting the school's commitment to inclusive participation and shared responsibility in achieving quality education. The program was facilitated by the SGC focal person, Ma'am Rosie L. Basilio.

To provide participants with a deeper understanding of the council, Ms. Margioleh Alonzo presented an overview of the School Governance Council (SGC), highlighting its purpose, legal basis, and its role in promoting participatory governance and collaborative decision-making within the school.

This was followed by a presentation from Mr. Ronald Bantugan, who discussed the composition of the School Governance Council, as well as the roles and responsibilities of its members. The discussion reinforced the importance of each stakeholder's contribution in supporting the implementation of school programs and ensuring accountability, transparency, and shared governance.

During the organizational meeting, the School Director Mia Ariana P. Tanciongco officially assumed the role of SGC Chairperson, while Dr. Ronald Bantugan was designated as the Appointed Co-Chairperson.

Also a key highlight of the activity was the conduct of the election of the Elected Co-Chairperson Ms. Cindy Pineda and Secretary Ms. Margioleh Alonzo, followed by the determination and confirmation of the official members of the School Governance Council. This process marked the formal establishment of the council, paving the way for stronger stakeholder participation in school governance and institutional development.

The newly designated Appointed Co-Chairperson and the Elected Co-Chairperson each delivered their messages, expressing gratitude for the trust bestowed upon them and reaffirming their commitment to working hand in hand with the school and its stakeholders in advancing BHSA's vision, mission, and strategic goals.

The program concluded with renewed optimism and a shared commitment among all participants to strengthen collaboration, promote transparency, and cultivate a culture of collective responsibility in making Bataan High School for the Arts a more responsive, inclusive, and progressive learning institution.

In celebration of Nutrition Month 2026, Bataan High School for the Arts, through the Student Affairs Division-School Health and Nutrition Section, successfully held the Functional Divisions' Healthy Sandwich Making Contest with the theme:

"𝘕𝘶𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘺𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘵 𝘒𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘯, 𝘈𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘢𝘯!"

The event showcased not only culinary creativity but also the importance of preparing nutritious, practical, and eco-friendly meals that promote healthy living and environmental responsibility.

The Schools Division Office of Bataan proudly congratulates Perlie Ann Torres-Samonte, Supervising Administrative Officer of Bataan High School for the Arts, for successfully passing the Third Stage of the Career Executive Service (CES) Eligibility Examination System – Validation of On-the-Job Performance.

The Validation of On-the-Job Performance is the third stage of the four-stage CES Eligibility Examination System. It assesses a candidate’s actual workplace performance, managerial and leadership competencies, and integrity through a comprehensive validation process conducted by a CESB-certified validator. This stage ensures that the candidate consistently demonstrates the skills, professionalism, and ethical standards required of future Career Executive Service leaders.

This achievement is a testament to Ms. Samonte’s dedication, competence, and commitment to excellence in public service. The entire DepEd SDO Bataan family takes pride in this significant milestone and celebrates her continued pursuit of professional growth and leadership excellence.

May pasok po bukas, Hulyo 14, sa lahat ng antas ng mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan sa buong Lalawigan ng Bataan, maliban kung may hiwalay na anunsyo ng suspensyon mula sa inyong lokal na pamahalaan o paaralan.

Batay sa pinakahuling ulat ng PAGASA, wala pong inaasahang heavy rainfall warning bukas. Bagama't unti-unti nang bumubuti ang lagay ng panahon, maaari pa ring makaranas ng panaka-nakang pag-ulan, pagkulog, at pagkidlat sa ilang lugar.

Kung kinakailangan, ang localized suspension ng klase ay maaaring ideklara ng inyong Mayor o School Head, batay sa aktuwal na lagay ng panahon at umiiral na mga patakaran.

Hinihikayat ang mga magulang, mag-aaral, at mga g**o na patuloy na subaybayan ang mga opisyal na anunsyo ng kanilang lokal na pamahalaan at paaralan.
