Bagac, Bataan โ The Bataan High School for the Arts (BHSA) conducted BAGANI: Ang PAK-Tatalaga sa mga Opisyal ng mga Samahan ng Paaralan, highlighted by the oath-taking of the School Governance Council (SGC), Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), Supreme Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA), Homeroom Parent-Teacher Association (HRPTA), Faculty Association, Non-Teaching Personnel Association,and student-led clubs.
More than a ceremonial gathering, the event signified the school's proactive approach to school-based management by through functional governance mechanisms that support evidence-based planning, policy implementation, learner welfare, and institutional accountability.
The ceremony was further enriched by the presence of distinguished local leaders and community partners whose messages reinforced the importance of shared responsibility in education. Representing Governor Jose Enrique S. Garcia III, Hon. Romano "Popoy" Del Rosario emphasized that a strong and united community is indispensable in nurturing future leaders and artists, affirming the Provincial Government's continued support for BHSA's mission.
Police Major Michelle Agnetha B. Gaviola, Chief of PNP Bagac, likewise expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to serve the Municipality of Bagac and its young artists, reaffirming the Philippine National Police's commitment to safeguarding learners and strengthening its partnership with the school.
The program also recognized the steadfast support of Hon. Neil Patrick Dela Rosa, Municipal Councilor of Bagac, and Ms. Cindy Pineda of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), whose presence reflected the strong collaboration among local government agencies, community stakeholders, and BHSA.
Their participation highlighted the collective commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment where every scholar can flourish academically, artistically, and personally.
Through BAGANI, strengthened stakeholder partnerships, and fully operational governance structures, the school lays a strong foundation for a school year defined by responsive public service and a shared commitment to nurturing young artists who excel in academics, the arts, and responsible citizenship.
