'First, second place: ASES makes its mark'

Campus journalists of Alang Salacsac Elementary School bagged first and second place during the District-Based Schools Press Conference held at Kayapa Central School on October 17, 2025.

Frances Rhianna Maloban, grade 6, hailed as champion in Copy Editing and Headline Writing-Filipino.

Joyce Pal-a, grade 6, landed second in Copy Editing and Headline Writing-English.

Christine Osngao, grade 5, snatched second in Editorial Cartooning-Filipino. #

ASES backs mental health through sports

Alang Salacsac Elementary School conducted its school-based intramural meet with the theme "Katawan at isipan ay patatagin, handa sa anumang hamong kakaharapin" on September 16, 2025. Red Dragon and Blue Mergers units engaged in different sports such as volleyball, badminton, chess, and laro ng lahi.

Donation boosts ASES sports equipment

In a gesture of support for sports development, Hon. Romeo "Tando" Camlas, Jr. donated two volleyballs and a set of shuttlecocks to Alang Salacsac Elementary School on September 15, 2025.

The said donation encouraged the pupils of Alang Salacsac Elementary School to engage in physical activities especially in volleyball and badminton.

BE 2025 LAUNCHES WITH BAYANIHAN SPIRIT AT ASES

June 9, 2025 - The Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU), parents, teachers, and pupils of Alang Salacsac Elementary School came together to kick off Brigada Eskwela 2025. This year's initiative aims to foster community spirit and bayanihan among stakeholders as they prepare the school for the upcoming academic year 2025-2026. With the theme "Brigada Eskwela: Sama-sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa," the Department of Education emphasizes the value of collective efforts in creating a supportive learning environment that promotes literacy and reading.

Kasabay nito, ipagdiriwang din ng bansa ang Philippine Veterans Week 2025. Hangad natin na magsilbing inspirasyon sa bawat isa ang kagitingan at kabayanihan ng ating mga Pilipinong beterano na nagbahagi ng kanilang serbisyo para sa kasarinlan ng ating bansa.
