Last May 21, 2026, our teachers participated in Day 2 of 2 of the training session facilitated by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗡. 𝗖𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼, HHHS Alumnus from Batch 2005 and Discipline Officer at St. Mary’s College of Quezon City.

Grounded in Social Emotional Intelligence, the session emphasized the importance of managing teachers’ energy and responses in creating positive learning environments. Teachers also gained practical strategies in understanding and responding to the different needs and personalities of students and parents with empathy, professionalism, and care.

Yesterday, our teachers participated in Day 1 of 2 of a meaningful training session facilitated by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗡. 𝗖𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼, an HHHS Alumnus from Batch 2005 and now a Discipline Officer at St. Mary’s College of Quezon City, as he returned to his alma mater to share his expertise with fellow educators.

Centered on the theme “𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚: 𝙇𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙀𝙄 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙋𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩,” the session emphasized the role of Social Emotional Intelligence in understanding learners and fostering positive classroom relationships. Teachers also took part in reflective and interactive activities focused on student behavior, empathy, and mentorship in discipline.

Last May 18, 2026, our teachers participated in a meaningful Culture Building session facilitated by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗙. 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹. Centered on the values of HHHS Love, Service, and Wisdom, the workshop encouraged educators to reflect on their purpose, identity, and responsibilities as teachers.

Through discussions on vibration as a job, profession, and advocacy, personal branding in teaching, and the importance of character and discipline, the session reminded every educator that teaching goes beyond instruction. It is a commitment to excellence, integrity, and lifelong influence.

As one community, we continue to nurture not only competent educators, but teachers who lead with purpose, passion, and heart.

To cap off the week, our Elementary and Preschool teachers participated in a meaningful training workshop with Dr. Ma. Luz S. Villanueva on “𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹” last May 7, 2026. The session focused on deepening teachers’ understanding of early literacy development and the importance of meaningful and developmentally appropriate print experiences for young learners.

Through engaging discussions and collaborative activities, teachers gained valuable insights and strategies that can help strengthen children’s early reading foundations and support literacy learning in the classroom.
