The Enhanced Institutional Development Workshop is one of the components of the DICT’s Digital Cities Program which aims to bring IT-BPM opportunities to the countryside to boost employment and revenue growth. With the initiatives of the DICT through the ICT Industry Development Bureau (IIDB), the workshop was successfully conducted last April 25-26, 2023 at the Bacoor Government Center, City of Bacoor, Cavite.
The DICT Region IV-A Calabarzon is genuinely honored to Hon. Strike B. Revilla, City Mayor of the City Government of Bacoor Cavite for all the support and help in gathering representatives from its local government units, academe, and private sector as they are the prime movers for this digital governance.
The insights gained from this workshop are crucial in shaping the local ICT roadmap for the City of Bacoor and with that, Dir. Cheryl C. Ortega, Regional Director of DICT Region IV-A expressed her enthusiasm for collaborating with the Bacoor City ICT Council in forming effective strategies and action plans to achieve its goals and objectives through the development of the city's ICT Roadmap.
