The Association of Dominican Communicators (ADC) concluded COMM Fair 2026 through the COMM Assembly held on May 16 at the Studio Theater of the St. Dominic College of Asia Digital Campus.
The assembly served as a gathering for BACOMM students, faculty, alumni, and graduating students to celebrate the achievements and milestones of the department.
During the program, outstanding alumni were recognized for their contributions in different fields of communication, including Michael Abarro Jr. for Broadcast Journalism, Czedy Rodriguez for Digital Media Arts, Paolo Lopez for Corporate Communication, and John Kenneth Talania for Creative Media.
The awardees also delivered inspirational speeches reflecting on their experiences as Dominican students and their careers in the professional field.
The event featured games and student activities before ending with farewell messages by the graduating students, officially closing COMM Fair 2026.

Dominican students gained insights on digital communication, marketing, and online engagement as COMMference 2026 welcomed alumni professionals to share their industry experiences and expertise on May 15, 2026 at AVR 2, SDCA Main Campus.
The conference featured speakers Czedy Rodriguez and John Kenneth Talania, who discussed emerging trends and strategies in the evolving digital media landscape.
Rodriguez, a Batch 2018 graduate and now a freelance marketing and creative consultant, promo specialist, and copywriter, tackled trendjacking and the use of online culture in marketing through her talk titled โRide the Wave: Trendjacking in the Philippine Digital Landscape Using Vital Trends, Memes, and Moments for Effective Marketing.โ She emphasized the importance of timely, creative, and strategic content in helping brands remain relevant online.
Meanwhile, Talania, a Batch 2022 graduate currently working as a social media associate, presented โCoded Connections,โ which focused on the influence of digital platforms on communication and relationships among todayโs generation. He also shared practical insights on building meaningful online engagement through creativity and data-driven strategies.
The conference provided BACOMM students with industry-based knowledge and firsthand experiences from alumni professionals, encouraging aspiring communicators to adapt to the demands of the evolving media landscape.

The sub-organizations of Dominican Communicators launched the opening of COMM Fair 2026 through a three-day booth selling activity held from May 12 to 14 at the St. Dominic College of Asia main campus grounds.
Led by their respective governors, participating organizations offered various food items, refreshments, and accessories for students.
The Journal Entry served Mango Sago, Fillikultura sold mini donuts, Entablado featured bracelets and keychains, while Kommunikeros encouraged student participation through a freedom wall.
Other booths also showcased a variety of products, with Pastimano offering cookies, chocolate cakes, and mango graham bars, while Sardella sold charms and clips.
The activity served as a prelude to the major COMM Fair events scheduled on May 15 for COMMference and May 16 for the Community Drive and COMM Assembly.
