𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | Stay Alert, Stay Safe: Knowing What to Do During an Active Shooter Incident The safety and security of all learners, teachers, and school personnel remain a top priority of the City Schools Division of Bacoor. In line with the Department of Education's emergency preparedness and school safety initiatives, all members of the school community and other stakeholders are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the appropriate measures to take in the event of an active shooter incident within the school premises. Remaining calm, exercising sound judgment, and responding appropriately may help reduce the risk of injury and save lives during critical situations.
In such emergency case, remember the three key response actions: Run, Hide, Fight.
If it is safe to do so, immediately evacuate and proceed to a secure location away from the threat. If escape is not possible, hide in a secure room by locking or securing doors, turning off lights, closing curtains or blinds, barricading entrances where feasible, remaining quiet, and placing mobile devices on silent mode. If the assailant reaches your location and there is no other reasonable means of escape to protect yourself, fight should be considered only as a measure of last resort and solely for the purpose of protecting life from an imminent threat. Any defensive action should be reasonable under the circumstances and shall be undertaken by responsible adults, particularly the teachers and school personnel, in accordance with the established emergency protocols and applicable laws.
Everyone is encouraged to remain vigilant, stay informed, and participate in school safety and emergency preparedness initiatives. By working together and following the established emergency protocols, we can help foster a safer and more secure learning environment.

MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR No. 004-2026

Alinsunod sa masusing rekomendasyon mula sa ating City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC), na walang tigil na nagbabantay sa ating sitwasyon, at gayundin sa pinakahuling ulat mula sa PAGASA-DOST, ipinababatid po natin na SUSPENDIDO ang FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES sa LAHAT NG ANTAS (pampubliko at pribado) sa buong Lungsod ng Bacoor bukas, Biyernes, ika-10 ng Hulyo 2026 dahil sa patuloy na masamang panahon dulot ng Bagyong INDAY at ng pinalakas na Habagat (Enhanced Southwest Monsoon) na maaaring maging sanhi ng mga pagbaha at iba pang sakuna.

Kaugnay nito, inaabisuhan ang lahat ng ating mga paaralan na sumunod sa mga probisyon ng DepEd Order No. 022, s. 2024. Mangyaring mag-shift po tayo sa modular distance learning, performance tasks, projects, o make-up classes kung ano man ang angkop, upang masigurong tuloy-tuloy pa rin ang pag-aaral at natutugunan ang mga learning competencies ng ating mga mag-aaral.

Ang kaligtasan ng bawat Bacooreño ang ating pangunahing prayoridad. Hinihiling ko po ang lahat na manatili sa inyong mga tahanan, maging alerto, at patuloy na subaybayan ang mga opisyal na anunsyo mula sa ating pamahalaang lungsod.

Paalala sa mga magulang na huwag hayaang lumabas at maligo sa ulan, lalo na sa baha, ang mga bata upang maiwasan na sila ay magkasakit. Kung hindi maiwasan ang paglusong sa baha, magpunta agad sa pinakamalapit na health center sa inyong lugar upang mabigyan kayo ng kaukulang gamot kung kinakailangan. Samantalahin din natin ang panahong ito upang makapaghanda sa iba pang posibleng epekto ng paparating na bagyong Inday sa ating mga tahanan.

Sama-sama po tayong manalangin na nawa’y malampasan natin ang pagsubok na dala ng paparating na bagyo sa ating lungsod at sa buong bansa. Mag-ingat tayong lahat at patnubayan nawa tayo ng Poong Maykapal.

Ang kautusang ito ay epektibo kaagad.

Sa ilalim ng DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026 o Guidelines on Ensuring Safe and Motivating Learning Environment (ESMLE), mas pinagtitibay ng DepEd ang mga hakbang para isulong ang kaligtasan, disiplina, responsableng asal, mental health, at proteksyon sa karapatan ng mga mag-aaral at personnel.

💡 Alamin ang nilalaman ng ESMLE Policy at kung paano ito dapat ipatupad sa mga paaralan.

📢 SAVE THE DATE!

Ngayong Hulyo 6, samahan ang Department of Education sa paglulunsad ng School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) for SY 2026–2027.

Layunin ng inisyatibang ito na mapabuti ang nutrisyon, kalusugan, at overall well-being ng mga batang mag-aaral, lalo na sa kanilang kritikal na taon ng paglaki. Bahagi rin ito ng mas malawak na hangarin ng pamahalaan na tugunan ang kakulangan sa early childhood care at nutrisyon, lalo na sa mga underserved communities.

Abangan ang pagbubukas ng programa dito sa DepEd Philippines ngayong Lunes.

Tara, simulan ang hakbang para sa mas malusog na kinabukasan ng bawat batang Pilipino!
