Two days of passion, teamwork, and excellence at the National Pharmalympics 2026

On April 18–19, the pharmates of St. Dominic College of Asia – School of Medical Laboratory Sciences, College of Pharmacy proudly took part in an unforgettable gathering held at De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, Dasmariñas.
Beyond the thrill of competition, this event highlighted something far greater, the power of fellowship within the National Junior Pharmacists Association. Students from across the nation came together, united by a shared passion for the profession and strengthened through sportsmanship, camaraderie, and mutual respect.

From every cheer to every challenge, the Pharmalympics proved that while we may come from different institutions, we stand as one community, future pharmacists driven by purpose, collaboration, and heart. 💜

The Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy students of St. Dominic College of Asia have brought pride to the Dominican community through their outstanding performance at the 2026 International Pharmacy Students Research Forum held at Taylor's University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Through the International Student Engagement and Exploration program, our students were given the opportunity to present their research on a global platform, demonstrating academic rigor, innovation, and relevance in the field of pharmacy. Their work not only reflects their dedication to advancing healthcare knowledge but also highlights the quality of education and research training they receive!

Mr. Aris Moreno, a 3rd-year BS Pharmacy student, secured 3rd Place in the Oral Research Presentation at the 2026 Philippine Pharmacists Association Research Day held in Vigan, Ilocos.

His study, titled “Development and Evaluation of Cricket (Teleogryllus occipitalis) Oil as a Natural Lipid Base for Suppository Formulation,” highlights innovation, sustainability, and excellence in pharmaceutical research.

The Seminar and Hands-on Training on Computational Drug Discovery: A Hands-on Introduction to Molecular Docking was successfully conducted facilitated by 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐚 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐨, 𝐑𝐏𝐡, 𝐌𝐒𝐜, from the College of Pharmacy of Our Lady of Fatima University

The principles and applications of in silico molecular docking in modern pharmaceutical research we’re introduced in this training. Through this training, students gained valuable insights into computational tools used in drug discovery and the growing role of bioinformatics in advancing healthcare innovation.

This initiative highlights the commitment of St. Dominic College of Asia to strengthening research skills and preparing future pharmacists for the evolving landscape of pharmaceutical science.
