WIKA AT KULTURA SA MAKABAGONG PANAHON 🇵🇭

Isang makabuluhang pagsalubong sa Agosto ang isinagawa ng Senior High School Dulong Bayan ngayong Agosto 3, 2026, kasabay ng pormal na pagbubukas ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026.

Sa temang “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon,” na itinampok ng Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF), binibigyang-diin ngayong taon ang mahalagang ugnayan ng ating wika at makabagong teknolohiya, lalo na sa pagkatuto, pananaliksik, at pag-access sa impormasyon.

Naging makulay ang programa sa pamamagitan ng Pampasiglang Sayaw na hatid ng Lunduyan Performing Guild na siyang sumasalamin sa yaman at kagandahan ng kulturang Pilipino. Samantala, pinangunahan naman ng Harmonia Dubayeños ang pag-awit ng Pambansang Awit upang pormal na simulan ang programa.

Sa kaniyang pambungad na pananalita, itinalakay ni Gng. Jennylyn L. Garcia, g**o sa Wikang Filipino, ang konteksto at kabuluhan ng napiling tema para sa pagdiriwang ngayong taon.

Ang seremonya ay pinangunahan ng Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) bilang bahagi ng mga gawaing naglalayong itaguyod ang pagpapahalaga sa wika, kultura, at pagkakakilanlang Pilipino sa buong komunidad ng paaralan.

Sa buwang ito, sama-sama nating gawing buhay ang ating wika at linangin ang yamang ito kasabay ng pag-usbong ng makabagong teknolohiya.

Kaya naman, Mabuhay ang Wikang Filipino! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas! 🇵🇭

From creativity to culinary excellence, the 2026 Nutrition Month Celebration has officially come to a close! 🌿🍎

The celebration began with the Poster-Making, Essay Writing, and Mood Board-Making Contests on July 15, 2026, with winners recognised during the awarding ceremony on July 27.

The celebration culminated with the Healthy Cooking Contest, held and awarded on July 27, showcasing students' talent in preparing nutritious and sustainable dishes. Among its highlights was the recognition of the Master Chef 2026, who received a brand-new cellphone sponsored by Barangay Dulong Bayan.

Congratulations to all the winners and participants for making this year's Nutrition Month celebration a meaningful success. Your creativity, passion, and commitment to promoting healthy living and environmental stewardship truly brought this year's theme, "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan!", to life.

Our sincere appreciation goes to our school administrators, teachers, judges, sponsors, parents, student volunteers, organisers, and everyone who shared their time, effort, and support in making this celebration possible. Your invaluable contributions helped create a memorable and meaningful Nutrition Month for the entire school community.

Senior High School Dulong Bayan welcomed Parent Supervisor Mr. Anthony Zeus Caringal, who conducted a Technical Assistance session at the Principal's Office, and Mr. Jimmy Narcise, Education Program Supervisor (EPS) for Learning Resources, who carried out a Learning Resources Assistance to support the school's instructional resource management.

The two separate assistance activities provided valuable guidance and recommendations aimed at strengthening school operations and enhancing the quality of learning resources. Through these initiatives, SHS Dulong Bayan continues to uphold its commitment to continuous improvement and quality education.

The SHS–DB community extends its sincere gratitude to Mr. Caringal and Mr. Narcise for their time, expertise, and unwavering support in helping the school achieve excellence in educational service. 💙

Senior High School- Dulong Bayan holds the Oath-Taking Ceremony for newly elected SPTA, School Organizations, and Club Officers last July 14, 2026, to formally begin their leadership terms.

The ceremony highlights the essential collaboration between parents, teachers, and student leaders in supporting academic excellence, student welfare, and progressive environment for Dubayeños to learn.

Ensuring Student Safety Inside the School and Classroom: Promoting Discipline, Respect, and Responsibility 🇵🇭

SHS Dulong Bayan commenced the week with a meaningful Flag Raising Ceremony featuring PLT Rowena Solis, Chief of Police of the Bacoor City Police Station, as the keynote speaker. Through her insightful and engaging message, she emphasized the vital role of discipline, respect, and responsibility in creating a safe and secure learning environment, inspiring students to become responsible, law-abiding, and community-minded individuals.

The school also extends its heartfelt appreciation to the members of the Bacoor City Police Station who joined and supported the activity: PAT Donny Rata, PAT Ma. Cristina Tapuic, PAT Cecelio Dilao Jr., and PAT Joy Belle Puno. Their presence reinforced the strong partnership between the school and the local police in promoting student welfare and campus safety.

As we begin another week of learning, may we continue to uphold the values of discipline, respect, responsibility, and service, working together to build a safer and more inclusive school community. 🇵🇭

Senior High School - Dulong Bayan successfully held its Home Parents-Teachers Association (HPTA) Orientation and Election of Officers for School Year 2026–2027 last July 3, 2026. The activity was facilitated by Dr Mercedes SJ. Pilar, School Principal II, together with Mr. Jesus A. Belanio, Teacher II/ Grade 12 Coordinator.

The orientation emphasized the vital role of parents in supporting school programs and strengthening the partnership between the school and the community.

Prior to the election, the first Homeroom Parents-Teachers Conference (PTC) was also held, providing parents and advisers the opportunity to discuss school policies, class expectations, and other important matters for the new school year.
