We celebrate a successful and educational collaboration between the Jose B. Lingad Memorial Hospital (JBLMH) and the College of Industrial Technology (CIT) of Pampanga State University (PSU)!
Today's Gender and Development (GAD) Wellness Seminar was led by the expert Beauty Care and Wellness Instructors and students from CIT-PSU. They generously shared their skills, providing hands-on training in both Massage and Reflexology.
This initiative is a powerful investment in the well-being of our dedicated personnel, equipping them with practical, professional techniques for stress management and health maintenance. Thank you to our talented trainors from CIT-PSU for making this vital GAD wellness program a success!

The event showcased the creativity and advocacy of CIT students as they transformed the streets into vibrant canvases that reflected gender awareness, empowerment, and the essence of equality—in line with this year’s theme, “𝑳𝒆𝒕’𝒔 𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝑱𝒖𝒂𝒏𝒂 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑱𝒖𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒔 𝑶𝒏𝒆.” Each artwork carried thoughtful symbolism and meaningful messages emphasizing unity, respect, and the continuous fight against all forms of gender-based discrimination.

Your creativity, dedication, and passion were truly evident in every stroke of chalk. Congratulations to all participants for your outstanding performances and for contributing to a visually impactful and inspiring display of GADvocacy. As part of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children, the College of Industrial Technology strengthened its advocacy for safety, awareness, and community well-being through the HIV and Drug Awareness Seminar held on December 1, 2025, at the University Auditorium.

The discussion shed light on the essential facts surrounding HIV transmission, prevention, early testing, and the importance of combating stigma through correct information and compassion.
Speakers also emphasized the dangers of drug misuse, outlining its effects on health, behavior, and future opportunities, while encouraging students to make informed and responsible decisions.

Through this initiative, the University continues to uphold its commitment to creating a safe, healthy, and empowered community, where dignity, respect, and protection remain a shared responsibility.

Held on December 01, 2025 at the University Auditorium, the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 proudly presented its annual celebration of creativity, empowerment, and cultural appreciation through the Parade of Greek Mythology Characters, an event conceptualized and facilitated by Dr. Harvey Ian G. Sibug.

This event highlighted the unwavering dedication of CIT Students, particularly the English 202 class in portraying iconic mythological figures that symbolize 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡, 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦, 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲. Through this parade, the college reaffirmed its commitment to 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 by embracing timeless stories that reflect equality, diversity, and the multidimensional roles of individuals in history and culture.

With every costume, performance, and portrayal, the participants brought to life the tales of gods, goddesses, heroes, and legendary beings, transforming the auditorium into a realm where artistry meets advocacy. This significant activity stands as a testament to the creativity, unity, and passion of the CIT community.

Team Table Time session brought together our dedicated GADvocates for a focused and insightful exchange on gender awareness and inclusive practices. The discussion served as an avenue to examine real-life situations, rethink long-standing norms, and strengthen our collective understanding of fairness, respect, and representation.

Participants engaged in thoughtful dialogue, shared diverse perspectives, and collaboratively explored ways to promote a more gender-sensitive environment within our academic community. The session highlighted not only the value of awareness, but also the importance of active participation in shaping spaces where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported.

𝐂𝐈𝐓 𝐃𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐑 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐏 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝟏𝟖-𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐆𝐍 🧡✨

The whole team came together once again as we prepared our college decorations for the 18-Day Campaign to End VAW. From brainstorming colors and layouts to painting banner and adding the final creative touches—everyone poured their heart into making our space meaningful and empowering.

It was lively, a little messy, and filled with teamwork. Students shared ideas, helped each other out, and discovered hidden artistic skills along the way. Every brushstroke, every cutout, and every detail tells a story of unity and advocacy.

These behind the scenes efforts remind us that creating a VAW-free community starts with small acts of collaboration and passion. 💪🏻💜

The 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗗𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘀 and 𝟭𝟴-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 officially commenced at 𝙋𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙈𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙨 on 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.

The opening program highlighted the University’s strong commitment to the nationwide call to end violence, emphasizing awareness, empowerment, and collective action. The event also featured the segment “𝙁𝙖𝙨𝙝-𝙊𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚-𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖,” where selected candidates showcased fashion ensembles inspired by the advocacy’s theme—celebrating strength, equality, and solidarity.

The ceremony concluded with the 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, signaling the start of a dynamic series of competitions in 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀, 𝗲-𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀, and 𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 events across all departments and satellite campuses.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝟭𝟴-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 brought together the 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 in a united show of support for this year’s national advocacy.

Held on 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, the parade highlighted the determination of CIT students and faculty as they marched carrying banners that promote awareness, empowerment, and solidarity in the call to end violence against women and children.

The event underscored the vital role of compassion, education, and shared responsibility in building safer and more inclusive communities. With every step, the CIT community reaffirmed its commitment to protecting rights, raising awareness, and standing firmly against all forms of violence.
