Karapatan at Katarungan ay Protektado: Libreng Serbisyong Legal para sa Bayan ng Mexico

In furtherance of its commitment to making legal assistance accessible and promoting public legal awareness, the Pampanga State University School of Law successfully conducted a Legal Mission on March 21, 2026, at the Mexico Mini Convention Center in Parian, Mexico, Pampanga.

The mission was carried out in collaboration with key partner institutions, including the Public Attorney’s Office, the Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Pampanga Chapter, the Philippine Statistics Authority, the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys), and PLDT. Their collective efforts ensured the delivery of accessible, efficient, and meaningful services to the local community.

As part of the program, a seminar was conducted on Republic Act No. 9262, focusing on raising awareness of legal rights, with particular emphasis on issues affecting women and families. Residents of Mexico, Pampanga actively participated in the event, reflecting a growing appreciation for initiatives that bridge the gap between the law and the people. The mission served not only as a venue for the provision of legal assistance but also as a platform for education, empowerment, and meaningful community engagement.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Local Government of Mexico, Pampanga for its invaluable support and concerted efforts in helping ensure the successful conduct of the legal mission.

In line with its enduring commitment to extend legal aid and promote public legal awareness, the Pampanga State University School of Law successfully conducted a Legal Mission on March 7, 2026, at the Magalang Gymnasium, Brgy. San Nicolas II, Magalang, Pampanga. Held in celebration of Women’s Month, the activity highlighted the importance of empowering women through knowledge and understanding of their rights.

The mission was conducted in collaboration with key partner institutions, including the Public Attorney’s Office, Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Pampanga Chapter, Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development, Cathedral of Praise – Pampanga, Philippine Statistics Authority, and PhilSys. Their collective efforts ensured the delivery of accessible and meaningful services to the local community.

A seminar was conducted as part of the program, focusing on raising awareness about legal rights, with particular emphasis on issues affecting women and families. Informational pamphlets were also distributed to further strengthen community understanding and encourage informed action.

As part of its continuing mission to bring justice closer to the people, the Pampanga State University School of Law held its Twelfth Legal Mission on October 5, 2025, at Sta. Ana, Pampanga. Guided by the theme "Kamalayan at Pag-unawa sa Karapatan," this initiative sought not only to offer free legal services but also to deepen public understanding of their rights and responsibilities under the law.
In collaboration with the Local Government Unit of Sta. Ana, the Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Pampanga Chapter, the Public Attorney's Office – City of San Fernando, and the Philippine Statistics Authority, the School of Law provided free legal consultations, free notarial services, and assistance booths for national ID and birth certificate processing.

The event was made possible through the collective efforts of our supervising lawyers, faculty members, and law student practitioners, whose dedication transformed the mission into a space of compassion, learning, and empowerment. Sta. Ana residents actively participated, seeking guidance on family, property, and civil law matters, demonstrating the community's growing trust in accessible legal services.
