Ang 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼 𝗨𝗻𝗼 𝗼 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆 ay hindi lamang paggunita sa araw ng pagmartsa ng mahigit 𝟭𝟬𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 na mga trabahante mula Tondo hanggang Malacañang upang mamalimos ng mas maayos na pamumuno ng mga Amerikano noong 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟬𝟭, 𝟭𝟵𝟬𝟯.

Idinaraos din ang araw na ito upang maiboses ang pagkukulang ng mga naghahari-harian, dahil dekada man ang nagdaan, wala pa ring pagbabago sa lipunan— mababa pa rin ang mahihirap, humahalakhak pa rin ang mga korap.

Kaya bilang pagsuporta ng Kataas-taasang Konseho ng Mag-aaral ng Kolehiyo ng Agham Panlipunan at Pilosopiya sa pagtindig ng mga Pilipino laban sa kasalukuyang administrasyon, kami ay nakikiisa sa patuloy na pakikibaka, para sa buhay at kabuhayan na ginawang pribilehiyo ng mga imperyalista at kapitalista:

Ang kasuotang ito ay isang malikhaing pagsasabuhay ni Manalastas, na sa mitolohiyang Kapampangan ay kinikilalang banal na tandang — tagapaghatid ng mensahe at tagapagbunyag ng katotohanan.

Ang naglalakihang pakpak ay sumisimbolo sa kanyang papel bilang tagapag-ugnay ng daigdig ng kamalayan at katotohanan, na nag-aangat sa pananaw ng tao lampas sa kolonyal na limitasyon. Samantala, ang nagliliyab na espada ay kumakatawan sa tapang na ipahayag ang katotohanan at putulin ang tanikala ng kamangmangan at maling kamalayan. Ang mga elementong apoy sa disenyo ay sumasalamin sa kanyang sigaw — isang paggising, tulad ng tilaok ng tandang, na nagbabadya ng panibagong umaga ng kamalayan at pagbabago.

Sa lente ng Sikolohiyang Pilipino, si Manalastas ay nagiging sagisag ng pagbubunyag ng tunay na identidad, karanasan, at boses ng Pilipino. Gayundin, sinasalamin nito ang layunin ng organisasyon na magsulong ng kamalayan, katotohanan, at makabuluhang pagbabago sa lipunan.

𝑳𝒆𝒕 𝒖𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆, 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒐𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕! 𝑬𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑺𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒅𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉. It calls us to never forget His sacrifice and to always remember His eternal love for us.

May we never forget the goodness He has shown and take time to reflect that even in our darkest moments, we are never alone—for Jesus is alive, and with Him there is always hope.

Black Saturday is the day of hope and patience. This is the day when Jesus Christ rested in His tomb after His crucifixion, continuing the mourning and sorrow of His followers. It is the moment devoted to honoring His sacrifice as we reflect the depth of His love for humanity.

As we silently commemorate the sacredness of this day, may we be reminded to trust in God’s plan, for with Him, there is always hope. In times of darkness, with Him, there is light. His eternal love, above all else, embodies a tomorrow filled with forgiveness, peace, and renewal.

In this time of meditation, prayer, and waiting, may our spirits be fueled with faith, hope, and resilience. While we prepare ourselves in the promise of resurrection, may our hearts be instilled with His grace above all.

Good Friday is a commemoration of Jesus atonement of our sins, a reminder of how deeply He loved humanity that He willingly endured mockery, scourging, and humiliation before giving His life on the cross just to save us.

𝑻𝒐𝒅𝒂𝒚, 𝒍𝒆𝒕 𝒖𝒔 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒆𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔 𝒄𝒓𝒖𝒄𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒙𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒂𝒄𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒖𝒔. While, spending time with our loved once and hoping for a better days.
