✨𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏 𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒊𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏✨

The Mechanical Engineering students (Batch 2 - 4B, 4C, 4F) successfully completed the ME Plant Tour 2026 held last April 22–24 across 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻, 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮, 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗰, 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻, an enriching journey that brought classroom theories to life through real-world industry exposure.

The tour provided the opportunity to visit prestigious companies and facilities such as 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝘂𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁, 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘅, 𝗣𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝘀 𝗗𝗼𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗰 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁, 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁, 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗰𝗶𝗺, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘃𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗰.. Throughout the three-day experience, students witnessed large-scale power generation, advanced manufacturing and quality control processes, and aviation engineering applications, allowing them to connect theoretical knowledge with actual industrial practices while strengthening teamwork and camaraderie.

This journey reminded everyone that engineering is more than machines—it is innovation, responsibility, and service to society. As the saying goes,

Inspired and motivated, we return with valuable lessons, lasting memories, and a stronger determination to become future Mechanical Engineers ready to build and shape the future.

𝑪𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒃𝒚: 𝗝𝗵𝗲𝗮 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘀 | 𝗣𝗦𝗠𝗘 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗣

𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗧 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗚-𝗫𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘, 𝗜𝗡𝗖.

On the recently concluded 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 last April 16, the Board approved the implementation of the 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, which aims to provide financial assistance to students currently experiencing difficulties in accessing education as the University transitions to alternative learning modalities in response to the ongoing energy and fuel crisis in the country.

In line with this, the 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 invites all eligible students to participate in the Online Orientation for GCash Registration, in partnership with G-Xchange, Inc, happening on 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. The orientation will serve as a briefer for students who have not yet created their registered GCash accounts and will provide guidance on how to receive the said assistance through GCash.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀:

Batch 1: 1:30 PM – 1:45 PM
Batch 2: 2:00 PM – 2:15 PM
Batch 3: 2:30 PM – 2:45 PM

The assigned schedule or batch of each student shall depend on their respective college, campus, and department. Students may join through the Google Meet link to be distributed by their Class Mayors and Local Student Council Governors. In case the virtual room reaches full capacity, students may instead attend through the Facebook Live stream on this page.

The list of eligible students who may avail of the assistance shall be posted in the comment section of this post, where students may verify their names, program, and campus.

For students who already have registered GCash accounts, they may simply scan the QR Code on the poster and accomplish the Google Form so their account details may be included in the directory to be forwarded to the University Cashier for the disbursement of assistance.

✨⚙️𝗠𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲⚙️✈️

From April 15–17, our 𝙈𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 students (Batch 1 - 4A, 4D, 4E) of 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 embarked on an exciting and knowledge-packed Plant Tour across Bataan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Pangasinan, and La Union — bringing classroom theories to life through real-world engineering exposure!

From witnessing the massive infrastructure and history of the 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝘂𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁, to understanding advanced manufacturing processes at 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝘀 𝗗𝗼𝗱𝗴𝗲, every stop strengthened our appreciation for engineering in action. We explored power generation at the 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗰 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁, where we saw how energy is produced and distributed to communities. Our visit to 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗰𝗶𝗺 gave us a closer look at cement production and large-scale industrial operations, while the tour at 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘃𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗰. introduced us to aviation technology and maintenance facilities.

This tour was more than just an academic requirement—it was a journey filled with hands-on learning, inspiring discussions, and moments that fueled our passion for mechanical engineering. We returned home with new knowledge, stronger bonds, and a clearer vision of the engineers we hope to become.

As we enter the last week of March, the 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐌𝐞𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐥 (𝐏𝐒𝐈𝐌) - 𝐉𝐫. 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 | 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 reflects on a month filled with inspiration, but more importantly, we look toward the road ahead. While the calendar page will soon turn, our commitment to the theme "𝘉𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘌𝘕𝘎 𝘱𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘣𝘈𝘳𝘯: 𝘔𝘢𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘰 𝘴𝘢 𝘒𝘢𝘱𝘸𝘢 𝘒𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘪𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘵 𝘒𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘢𝘯!" does not have an expiration date.

𝘛𝘩𝘦 "𝘱𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘣𝘈𝘳𝘯" 𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘢 𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘥—it is a sustainable movement. We recognize that the leadership, wisdom, and resilience demonstrated by women this month are the very gears that must continue to turn every single day to keep our society moving forward. We are dedicated to ensuring that leadership remains inclusive by providing consistent platforms for women to lead technical initiatives and ensuring our spaces remain safe, maintaining a culture of respect that lasts far beyond "Orange Fridays." Our mission continues as we mentor the youth to see a future where their potential is never limited by gender.

The final days of March serve as our launching pad. We leave this month more fueled than ever to break the friction of inequality and engineer a future where every "Juana" is empowered to lead and excel—today, tomorrow, and always.

Gearing toward excellence in full motion, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) students from the College of Engineering and Architecture of Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) triumphed at the 4th Luzon Regional Mechanical Engineering Students’ Conference (MESCON) 2026, held at the Claro M. Recto Events Place in Lipa City, Batangas, from March 19 to 21, 2026.

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗚𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘆: 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Mechanical Engineering (ME) Elasticos displayed notable talent and competitiveness at the Pambansang Samahan ng Inhenyero Mekanikal Luzon Regional Conference Mechanical Engineering Students’ Conference (PSIM LRC MESCON) 2026, took place at Claro M. Recto Event’s Place. The event was organized by the Pambansang Samahan ng Inhenyero Mekanikal (PSIM) which gathered mechanical engineering students across Luzon with the theme, “PSIM: Leadership with Integrity and Stability Geared Towards Membership Welfare Development, Professional Growth and Motivation for Global Competence.”

PampangaStateU delegates notched top awards in several competitions, demonstrating both technical competence and creative excellence. Ryan P. Dultra emerged as champion in the On-the-Spot Poster Making contest, while Francine Hilarie H. Miclat claimed the top spot in the AutoCAD Challenge.

In one of the conference’s most anticipated events, the Rube Goldberg (Machine Design) Contest, the PSU team was composed of Juan Miguel P. Almuete, Jeremiah F. Balboa, Cyrl P. Boncato, Earl Patrick G. Fernandez, Chaze Izen C. Lindayag, and Royce Lander C. Villegas earned both Best in Design and Overall Champion awards.

In the Quiz Bee event of the competition, Ivan Elmo C. Vitug, Bryan James D. Rangel, and Prince Carlo V. Mendoza bagged the 3rd Runner-up title, while Joshua Caleb G. Gonzales notched 7th Runner-up in the Chess Tournament.

The university also performed strongly in photography competitions, with Ma. Jannie L. Omaña placing 1st runner-up in On-the-Spot Photography and first-year student Eon B. Azares finishing as 2nd runner-up in Amateur Photography.

Azares pointed out that his participation in the competition occurred unexpectedly, noting “To be honest hindi ko man naisip na makakasali pa ako ulit sa competition… [niyaya] inaya lang talaga at nagkasundo kami ng friends ko na sumama.” He remarked that regardless of the outcome, the experience itself was momentous, adding, “Kung nanalo, masaya naman kami, and if natalo, at least we tried pa rin.”

He credited his achievement to the strong support system around him, specifically his friends, classmates, coach, and the PSIM PampangaStateU Chapter. “Siguro through the support of my friends and classmates ako lumaban at kumuha ng lakas… plus nalang talaga yung manalo,” he stated, citing the added pressure of representing the school as a first-year student.

Azares also noted the difficulties encountered, particularly the lack personal equipment. “Yung challenging part siguro sa amateur photography is yung lack of equipment, wala akong sariling camera kaya dinaan ko nalang sa panghihiram sa mga kaibigan ko,” he explained, emphasizing how he relied on the trust and support of others to overcome limitations.

Despite placing third overall, Azares expressed pride in representing PSU. “For me, it was an honor and a privilege to represent the school… gagawin kong panibagong lakas yung mga natutunan ko para kung magkakaroon pa ng susunod na pagkakataon, mas higit pa yung ipapakita ko,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Coach Adrian C. Garcia, coach of amateur and on-the-spot photography, emphasized the discipline and determination demonstrated by the students especially given the limited preparation time. “Despite having only two weeks for formal, intensive preparation, the students maximized every opportunity to train and improve,” Coach Garcia said, stating that prior participation in PMESCON 2026 helped build their foundation.

He distinguished time constraints as the team’s biggest challenge but pointed out their ability to adapt. “The biggest challenge we faced was the limited preparation time… I implemented structured and disciplined guidance, with a strong focus on readiness for the competition,” he explained.

For Coach Garcia, the team’s success represents more than just awards. “This achievement is very meaningful to me as a coach. It reflects the hard work, dedication, and resilience of the students,” he said. He added that the outcomes achieved illustrate that the Elasticos are capable of competing at high-level competitions, noting that their performance affirms they can “hold their own against other schools across Luzon and even at the national level.”

The notable performance of PamSU at the competition showcases not only the technical prowess of its mechanical engineering Elasticos but also their creativity and perseverance. As Azares noted, “Hindi lang tungkol sa math ang galing ng mechanical engineers—marami tayong talento,” illustrating the numerous skills displayed all throughout the competition.

The distinguished success and commendable achievements of the ME Elasticos at the MESCON 2026 showcases their skills, creativity, and dedication to excellence. Their impressive performance sets the standard for future participants and reinforces the University's prominence as a hub of academic prowess. These remarkable accomplishments represent the university’s commitment in accordance with empowering and shaping globally competitive professionals.

"Seeds from yesterday will eventually grow abundant with enough time, just like the rugged path of an aspiring engineer. The image shown captures three individuals, two passionate students and a college professor having similar interests to the machine before them. Arm raised, curious, and spirited was seen to the student from the middle—acting through his own volition showcasing the qualities of a leader. For the student from the left side, presence was shown highlighting camaraderie, a quality of an individual who values knowledge through company. Lastly, the excellence of a professor from behind the scenes who nurtures both of the future engineers with him.
