DHVSU Office of the Student Regent

𝗢𝗔𝗧𝗛-𝗧𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗗𝗛𝗩𝗦𝗨 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗧—October 03, 2024

In a formal ceremony held at the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Office in Quezon City, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘆 𝗥𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗖. 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝘇 was officially sworn in as the DHVSU Student Regent of the Board of Regents. The oath was administered by Hon. Ronald L. Adamat, CHED Commissioner and Chairperson of DHVSU BOR, signifies her role as the voice of the student body within the university’s highest governing body. As the new Student Regent, the office will prioritize and implement policies, programs, and projects aimed at benefiting DHVSU’s 46,000 stakeholders, ensuring their voices are heard in the university’s decision-making processes.

The event was graced by key university officials in person by Dr. Enrique G. Baking, the University President and Vice Chairperson of DHVSU BOR; Ms. Mariefel S. Capili, Chairperson of the DHVSU BOR Committee on Administration and Finance, President of the Faculty Association, and Member of DHVSU BOR; Dr. Ranie B. Canlas, Vice President for Research, Innovation, Training, and Extension, and Acting University and Board of Regents’ Secretary; and Dr. Dolores T. Quiambao, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services, Resource Person.

Online attendees included Dr. Esperanza F. Salinas, President of the Alumni Association and Member of DHVSU BOR; Dr. Julius Caesar V. Sicat, DOST3 Regional Director and Member of DHVSU BOR; Ms. Nerrisa T. Esguerra, NEDA3 Regional Director and Member of DHVSU BOR; and Dr. Lora L. Yusi, CHED3 Regional Director and BOR Resource Person.

Attention, Graduating Honorians!

To maintain the solemnity of the Graduation Ceremonies this coming September 4 to 8, 2023, the University will only have a one official photographer for the said ceremony, the ASDI STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY.

Graduating students who wish to avail the stage shots during the same event, Honorian candidates for graduation are instructed to coordinate with their Class Mayors.

There is an official group chat intended for this matter. Class mayors who are still not part of the same, are instructed to message the former USC Vice President, Louis Andrei L. Suba.

Once again, ASDI STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY is the only allowed photographer to enter the venue during the Graduation Days.
