Congratulations to the team of BS Electronics Engineering students from the College of Engineering and Architecture who, under the mentorship of ECE Chairperson Dr. Mary Anne M. Sahagun, secured Top 2 in the student category of the 2025 Space Business Innovation Challenge hosted by the Philippine Space Agency on November 08, 2025.

From among 80 entries nationwide, Pampanga State University’s representatives — Mark Gilmore Arceo, Austin Paul Magtoto, and Jeroeim Echague — earned recognition for their project “ASTRONOUS,” a concept that utilizes satellite and IoT data to accelerate the adoption of solar energy technologies. Their innovative solution and strong business potential were highly commended by the panel of judges.

On October 27, 2025, the KMIO actively joined the earthquake drill organized by the OSHO through the UDRRMU to enhance readiness and ensure the safety of personnel during emergency situations. The activity aimed to strengthen disaster response capabilities and promote awareness among all participants.

The Knowledge Management and Innovation Office joined the university-wide earthquake drill in participation in the Second Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) held last June 19, 2025 organized by the University Occupational Safety and Health Office (UOSHO). The office is grateful for the opportunity to learn, join, participate, and practice safety measures with our team because preparedness saves lives. Knowing wat to do before, during, and after an earthquake can make all the difference.
