Today, August 22, 2026, the CLMMRH-Amlig Health Clinic proudly joined hands with the Negros Occidental Medical Society, the PSMID-Western Visayas Chapter, and the Brgy. Singcang SK Federation to celebrate the Linggo ng Kabataan.
This half-day activity was packed with awareness campaigns and practical strategies to improve the lives of our youth, teaching them how to protect themselves emotionally, mentally, and physically. Highlights of the event included voluntary HIV testing, alongside engaging discussions on HIV prevention, mental health, basic life support, disaster resilience, and drug prevention for a healthy, productive life.
It was a truly impactful initiative. By preparing our youth to be resilient and active in both body and mind, we are empowering them to become the healthy foundation of our future generations.

NICU Capacity Status

The Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital informs the public that its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is currently at full occupancy and has remained at full capacity for several consecutive days.

The hospital continues to attend to patients within its available resources. However, due to the present number of newborn patients requiring intensive neonatal care, NICU admission may be subject to the availability of beds, equipment, and clinical prioritization.

Expectant mothers, families, and referring health facilities are therefore encouraged to coordinate early with their attending physician or nearest appropriate health facility, particularly in cases where the newborn may require NICU-level care after delivery.

This advisory is issued to support proper planning, timely coordination, and safe care for both mothers and newborns.
