With immense pride, the UniTourism Society congratulates 𝙂𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙋. 𝙐𝙡𝙜𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣, a 4𝙩𝙝 𝙔𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙏𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙢 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 student, for being recognized as one of the 𝙏𝙤𝙥 30 𝙁𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙨 of the iMPACT Leadership Academy for Civic Empowerment (iLACE) Regional 2026 Fellowship Program.

This recognition is more than a milestone. It is a reflection of a journey shaped by servant leadership, civic engagement, and the courage to create meaningful change. Through every experience, Gian has shown that leadership is not about standing at the front of the journey, but about walking alongside others, helping them find their direction, and leaving the path better than it was before.

From the halls of tourism education to a wider stage of civic leadership, this achievement marks another destination in a journey that continues to unfold. And as new horizons call, may he carry with him the values that brought him this far: to lead with purpose, to serve with heart, and to make every journey matter.

Because the most meaningful journeys are not measured by how far we travel, but by how many lives become brighter because we chose to take the journey with them.

Some milestones are more than recognition. They are reminders of what happens when education finds its purpose beyond the classroom.

𝙎𝙏𝙄 𝙒𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙉𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙨 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙉𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙨 𝙊𝙘𝙘𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙣 𝘼𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙘 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙧, honoring its continued contributions to tourism development, cultural heritage preservation, and sustainable tourism in the province.

The recognition was conferred during the Tourism Appreciation Night on September 11, 2026, at Negros Residences, Capitol Grounds, Bacolod City, where academic institutions, tourism stakeholders, and partner organizations gathered to celebrate those helping move Negros tourism forward.

Presented by Mr. Raymond A. Bayot, Officer-in-Charge of the Negros Occidental Tourism Division, and Dr. Jennylind Cordero, Chief Tourism Operations Officer of Region VI, the recognition reflects the University's continuing partnership and support for tourism initiatives across the province.

For STI West Negros University, tourism is more than a program. It is a platform to educate, empower, and inspire future professionals who will carry the stories, heritage, and possibilities of Negros into the future.

From the classroom to the community, the journey continues. One partnership, one generation, one destination at a time.

The collection of Organizational Fees for the 1st Semester, A.Y. 2026–2027 will officially begin on 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟏𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐀𝟑𝟎𝟐, 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐂𝐇𝐓𝐌) from 𝟏:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 𝐭𝐨 𝟒:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌.

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀:
• Payments must be made personally. No “padala” or proxy payments will be accepted.
• Only one student at a time is allowed inside the room.
• A receipt will be issued after payment. Please keep your receipt as proof of payment for clearance signing at the end of the semester.

On September 10, 2026, STI West Negros University joined the 26th Provincial Tourism Week – School Hour 2026: Ang Pagpasundayag Season 2 at Ayala Centre Bacolod, bringing together tourism students in a celebration of culture, talent, passion, and school pride.

Representing the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management, our STIers stepped forward and embraced the energy of the celebration, creating moments filled with creativity, learning, competition, and connection.

More than the color we wore, yellow became a symbol of unity, pride, and our shared passion for tourism.

Because behind every talent, every competition, and every achievement was a community that chose to support one another.
