Imagine nourishing your body with fresh produce, unaware that the very soil it grew in was tainted by landfill waste. Leachate, the polluted liquid formed when rainwater filters through garbage dumps, is an unseen threat silently making its way into our food chain.

During this Nutrition and Environment Week, let's remember that clean eating starts with a clean environment:

Now on its fourth year, “𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞: 𝐑𝐄𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐒” 🎁 once again opens its doors as a university-wide initiative that brings the Lasallian community together through the spirit of care and service. What started as a way to support students in the Higher Education Unit (HEU) now enters its phase of aggrandizement, extending its reach beyond college. This year, 𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞: 𝐑𝐄𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐒 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 (𝐁𝐄𝐔),🎉 allowing even more Lasallians to experience the care of the community.
