With eager minds🧠 and a passion for shaping the future👩🏻‍🏫✨ The Elementary Education Majors from the second and third year students of EED 203 and EED 210 under Ms. Jesan Kim Illustre—joined the seminar “MATATAG Curriculum: Building the Foundations of Quality Education Through Future Educators” last August 8, 2025, featuring Dr. Jennyfer J. Cusi as the esteemed resource speaker.💪🏻✨

The seminar highlighted the MATATAG principles—Making the curriculum relevant, Taking steps to decongest, Targeting foundational skills, and Giving support to teachers—which aim to strengthen the quality of basic education.🎒🏫

Our heartfelt thanks to Doc Joram Ausente, Dean of the College of Education, and Doc Hazel T. Atilano, Department Chairperson, for their invaluable support and approval in making this event possible.✨
