One of the different tests described in the past for De Quervain's tenosynovitis is the most popular test called Eichhoff's test, which has been wrongly known as Finkelstein's test for the longest time. Moreover, WHAT test, a new test for tenosynovitis, showed a greater sensitivity. It becomes a more precise tool than the Eichhoff's test and thus could be adopted to guide clinical diagnosis in the early stages of de Quervain's tendinopathy.
See the difference in the procedure of the 3 special tests.
