VMA Global College CCJE and the Parole and Probation Administration formalized a partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement held at the Negros Occidental Parole and Probation Coordinating Center today, June 10.
Representing the Parole and Probation Administration were Regional Officer-in-Charge Mr. Rene S. Remollo, Assistant Regional Director Ms. Nilda F. Diwatin, and Chief Probation and Parole Officers Ms. Mary Ann Lalaine G. Fernandez and Mr. Mark Thaddeus D. Tanalgo. The institution was represented by Mr. Rene III B. Alcala, Director of the Office of Student and External Affairs, Dr. Kirsty Mae I. Magno, RCrim, LPT, Dean of the College of Criminal Justice Education, and Ms. Jonabel A. Camanso, RCrim, MSCJ, Program Head.
The agreement marks the formalization of a partnership aimed at advancing shared institutional goals.

๐ค๐ COMMUNITY PROJECT DONATION TO BJMP ๐๐ค
The College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), in collaboration with VMA Community Extension and Development Office and VMA Global College and Training Centers, Incorporated proudly turned over a community project donation to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) NOJ- Male Dorm and City Jail Male Dorm as part of our commitment to community engagement, social responsibility, and support for rehabilitation initiatives.
The donated materials aim to contribute to the welfare, education, and development of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), reinforcing the importance of creating opportunities for learning, personal growth, and positive transformation.
This initiative reflects the institution's dedication to fostering meaningful partnerships with law enforcement and correctional agencies while promoting the values of service, compassion, and nation-building among our students and stakeholders.

๐ค MOA SIGNING CEREMONY | June 3, 2026
A significant milestone in fostering collaboration and community engagement was marked through the successful signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between VMA Global College, the Department of Social Services and Development (DSSD) Bacolod, and the Philippine National Police Regional Recruitment and Selection Unit โ Negros Island Region (PNP RRSU-NIR).
The agreement was formally signed by CAPT. Nino Elson O. Salabas, PhD, President of VMA Global College; Richelle H. Verdeprado, RSW, PhD, Department Head II of DSSD Bacolod; and PCOL Jacob T. Crisostomo, Chief of PNP RRSU-NIR.
Also present during the signing ceremony were Dr. Kirsty Mae Magno, Dean of the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), and PSSg Imee V. Amiano, RRSU-NIR Personnel, who served as witnesses to the agreement.
This partnership reflects the shared commitment of the participating institutions to promote academic excellence, community service, professional development, and collaborative initiatives that will benefit students and the wider community. Through this strengthened alliance, new opportunities for learning, service, and growth are expected to emerge.

- June 3, 2026, the Regional Recruitment and Selection UnitโNegros Island Region (RRSUโNIR), in partnership with the Visayan Maritime Academy (VMA), formalized a collaborative undertaking through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement held at the Accreditation Room, VMA Global College Campus, Brgy. Sum-ag, Bacolod City.
The agreement was signed by PCOL JACOB T CRISOSTOMO, Regional Chief of RRSUโNIR, and Capt. Niรฑo Elson O. Salabas, University President of VMA, representing their respective institutions.
The partnership aims to advance student development, promote research initiatives, and strengthen community extension programs.
Also present during the signing ceremony were Dr. Kirsty Mae Magno, CCJE Dean and PSSg Imee V. Amiano, RRSUโNIR personnel, who served as witnesses to the agreement.
Under the partnership, RRSUโNIR will provide support in conducting career orientation programs, recruitment awareness campaigns, and other collaborative activities.
