As the school year comes to an end, we recognize how endurance has shaped our resilience along the way. Yet, without the love of friends and family to sustain us, the journey would have been far more difficult.

As we look back, letโ€™s take a moment to explore the experiences of Academy students that have shaped their definition of love.

Let the world have its red and its lace,
Its candy hearts in a cardboard case.
For I have found a truer art,
A love thatโ€™s written on my heart.

You are the ink, the steady hand,
The reason that my soul can stand.
While earthly valentines decay,
Your perfect love is here to stay.

When I was lost, a wandering sheep,
Your shepherdโ€™s love, it climbed the deep.
It left the ninety-nine behind,
Just to bring this heart of mine.

Back to the fold, back to the feast,
Back to the greatest and the least.
That is the love I hold today,
A love that would not let me stray.

So on this day of cupidโ€™s bow,
This is the truth I come to know:
No flower fades, no setting sun,
Can match the love of God the Son.

It is not fragile, not a game,
It does not waver, not a flame
That flickers out when winds are rough.
My God is love, and thatโ€™s enough.

Academy faced tough challenges in CPAC, falling to ITZ 77โ€“96 in basketball, a result that highlights areas for improvement moving forward.

The volleyball team also endured a hard-fought match against Cross Course. Academy opened strong, clinching the first set 25โ€“22 through solid teamwork and strategic play. However, Cross Course regained momentum in the succeeding sets. Academy could not sustain its early advantage, dropping the second set 18โ€“25 and the third set 11โ€“15, resulting in a 1โ€“2 match loss.

These recent results on both the basketball and volleyball courts reflect the competitive landscape Academy continues to navigate. Although the outcomes were not in their favor, the experience provides valuable lessons that will help strengthen the teamsโ€™ resilience and sportsmanship in future competitions.

On February 14, 2026, the Central Philippine Adventist Collegeโ€“Academy (CPAC-A) concluded its Voice of Youth evangelistic series with a message of hope during the Sabbath program held at the academy.

Rhyzebel Maantos delivered the final sermon titled โ€œThe Coming of the King,โ€ emphasizing that despite the worldโ€™s struggles with poverty, violence, and crime, there remains hope in Jesusโ€™ promised return. She read from John 14:1โ€“3, reminding the congregation of Christโ€™s assurance that He will come again to take His people to be with Him.

Maantos also warned about the deceptions and temptations of Satan, encouraging students to rely on the Bible as their guide to avoid being misled, as highlighted in Matthew 24:30. She explained that Christโ€™s second coming will be visible, loud, and powerful, citing Revelation 16:18โ€“20 and 1 Thessalonians 4:16โ€“17.

Concluding her message, she affirmed that the same Jesus who once lived on earth will return in glory, offering hope for a better future. The final day of Voice of Youth marked the culmination of a week-long spiritual journey that aimed to strengthen the faith of the academy community and inspire students to grow closer to God.

The sixth day of the evangelistic series โ€œVoice of Youthโ€ was held on February 13, 2026, at the Central Philippine Adventist Collegeโ€“Academy chapel, featuring health and spiritual messages that strengthened studentsโ€™ faith amid lifeโ€™s challenges.

The evening began with a health lecture delivered by Hailey Luaya, a Grade 10 student, who discussed caffeine as a commonly consumed stimulant among teens and adults. She explained its effects on sleep, the nervous system, and overall health, emphasizing that caffeine does not truly create energy but only draws from the bodyโ€™s stored reserves. An intermission number by the Torch Lighters, a group of junior high school students, followed and added inspiration to the service.

The program concluded with a Gospel message presented by Nathan Sunico, a Grade 9 student, who addressed the question, โ€œIf God Is Good, Why Is There So Much Suffering?โ€ He explained that while God allows challenges, He is not the source of suffering, which results from sin and the works of Satan. By highlighting the story of Job, the message reminded students of Godโ€™s goodness and encouraged them to remain faithful despite lifeโ€™s difficulties.

Through its health and spiritual presentations, Day 6 of the Voice of Youth series continued to build knowledge and awareness among students while strengthening their understanding of faith and responsible living.

The program opened with a prayer by Kate Lariosa, a Grade 11 student, inviting Godโ€™s guidance throughout the assembly. An intermission number by Grade 11 students from Sapphire and Jasper added inspiration to the gathering.

Another segment of the worship in the afternoon featured a meditative flute rendition by Nikki Blanco, followed by a health lecture on the immune system presented by Auvergne Faye Gedalanga, a Grade 12 student. She emphasized preventive practices and the importance of maintaining good health as part of honoring Godโ€™s temple.

The spiritual messages highlighted the central themes of the day. Collin Siga delivered a sermon titled โ€œAn Ancient Dream Reveals World History,โ€ referencing Daniel 2:27โ€“28 and Isaiah 46:9โ€“10 to emphasize Godโ€™s sovereignty and the call for spiritual preparedness. Meanwhile, Sermir Joaquin Jr., a Grade 12 student, presented the message โ€œIs There a Solution for the Worldwide Crisis?โ€ offering hope amid global challenges and affirming Godโ€™s enduring love.
