OUR BATCH FESTIVAL THEME FOR THIS YEAR’S GRAND ALUMNI HOMECOMING

The Bacolaodiat is Bacolod City’s (Negros Occidental) very own Chinese New year celebration. The festival is relatively young and just started in the year 2006. Bacolaodiat comes from two words Bacolod and Laodiat, a Fokien word for celebration signifying overflowing happiness and good fortune. Bacolaodiat is a manifestation of the union of both Chinese and the Filipino cultures playing an important role in the fields of business and tourism industry for the city of Bacolod.

When combined, our 18 pesos can support school-related projects, programs, and affairs.

On its first year of implementation, we, the BATCH 2018 Officers are delighted to introduce the new fundraising program, entitled "Pledge 18".

"Pledge 18" is an initiative of BATCH 2018 that serves as a voluntary donation drive. Every member is encouraged to donate or pledge 18 pesos annually to fund various events, programs, and projects of BATCH 2018, along with other relevant activities of Bacolod City College.

To maintain transparency in all financial transactions and other pertinent records, our batch adopted the Marapara Updating and Monitoring System, introduced and owned by one of the batch alumni officers. It will serve as BATCH 2018's official transparency board.

Meanwhile, BATCH 2018 members are highly encouraged to participate in all batch alumni affairs.
